As a company that travels extensively across the nation, we frequently rely on Dunkin' Donuts for our catering needs, often spending thousands of dollars each week to kick off our workday. Unfortunately, our recent experiences at the Hutchinson, Kansas location have prompted us to reconsider our loyalty. During our last visit, we ordered just four drinks, and the wait time exceeded an hour. To make matters worse, two of the drinks were forgotten entirely, forcing the person picking up the order to go back inside to retrieve them. While we initially attributed this mishap to a busy location, it set a concerning precedent for the quality of service we could expect. Things only went downhill from there. Later that evening, we returned around 9:30 PM with the intention of ordering donuts, coffee, and drinks to supply our night shift. However, we were abruptly informed that they had already started cleaning the coffee pots and were unable to make us any coffee. This is utterly unacceptable, especially for a business that prides itself on being a go-to coffee and donut destination. The cumulative experience of poor service and inadequate product availability has led us to the unfortunate conclusion that Dunkin' Donuts in Hutchinson, Kansas, does not value our business. We will no longer be using Dunkin' Donuts for our catering needs moving forward. It is disheartening to see a brand we've relied on fail so miserably to meet basic customer expectations. Read moreOkay, I posted a review but need to update it since I received assistance from the franchisee. They are working out some kinks. We ordered an ice cream cake recently and that went well. We had ordered that online and had no issues that time. This time we happened to order some ice cream that was out of stock, but the website did not reflect that and it allowed us to order, so we ordered it and when we went to pick it up it wasn't available. Although, we had already paid we were not offered another type of ice cream. Once our issue was known to the franchisee they remedied the situation, but that required a call to the corporate number.
We are fairly regular customers and I think what appears to be lack of customer service is more of a lack of training and a situation of being understaffed and in the process of improving.
Typically, we are not greeted when we walk in, but not all places greet you when you walk in. The ice cream is excellent and generally has better quality ingredients than what you'll get from the grocery store for a similar price.
My understanding is that there is new ownership at this store and I imagine you will see the customer service and atmosphere improve. I'm not big on donuts and I haven't tried much of the Dunkin' donuts side of things so I can't comment on that, but the quality of Baskin-Robbins product is great.

Read moreWhat a disgustingly dirty store. I’m visiting the area and wanted to take my grandson for a donut before school. Since the store is fairly new I expected it to be great customer service since they should be building a custom base. I shop Dunkin’ regularly at home. This stores employees either weren’t trained well or they just don’t care. There were used papers wraps thrown on top of the donut case and I had to swat them so I could look at their selection. A female employee saw me swatting and she came over and huffily grabbed the papers and when she did there were crumbs all over the top of the cases and I’m not talking a few, you could decorate a dozen donuts with all the crumbs and I’m no exaggerating. Then she proceeded to ignore us. I bought my grandson his donut, only because we were out of time ( thanks for being ignored for 5 minutes) and I didn’t want to disappoint him. Finally the woman who was huffy sent a younger woman to help and she was very pleasant and helped with a smile so I added some “donut holes “ and when I finally got to eat one it tasted “day old” yuk!
