This place has the potential to be quite good, but in the end, is a very mixed bag.

First, the good part: All three of our burgers had very good flavor. The menu and item construction shows good understanding of gastronomy, and uses surprising combinations of flavors to create a well-rounded experience.

The less good: The fries served with our burger were cold and soggy, and were seasoned inconsistently (though the flavor was good) The seats felt broken, as if they had been picked up from a thrift store, and the thermostat was turned far too low for the weather. Overall, the interior ambiance was very muddled and incomplete. Decor varied from Hollywood posters to Irish flags. Flooring had large gaps, and overall, just felt unfinished and low in quality. Two out of three burgers were significantly overcooked and dry (the menu promises a maximum of medium, but two of the three were definitely well done) and the meat underseasoned when sampled on its own.

The very bad: Service staff seemed overwhelmed. It took us nearly an hour to get our food from the time of order. Our server only checked in with us one time over that period, refilled one of our glasses with the wrong beverage, and then argued with us when we asked her to fix it. She made many excuses, and her demeanor was unwelcoming and unprofessional. We only got one refill to our drinks in the hour and a half we...

So Confusing! we just ate there and I had to slap yo mama burger with blueberry compote and hot honey chicken sandwich. Both were BOMB! Great food- burger might be the best in Idaho Falls. Chicken sandwich and fries were great too. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean as well.

BUT the decor and environment and atmosphere in here is borderline depressing. You have old lady furniture in the front window and seating area? French Provincial dresser as a work station. The chairs and table tops are banquet tables.Tiny Americana pictures on huge walls ? No high tops? And No Bar seating— in a PUB?

The place is supposed to be an Irish Gastro pub. Nothing about restaurant says Irish or Gastropub.. No Irish flags no shamrocks?No bar seating ? You feel like you are in a hotel restaurant. Great location and great window views but you are stuck in the dark corners. Just doesn’t make sense..

It’s not a place that I would want the boys to go and have beers and burgers as is . Even though the burgers and beer are Damn good. Super weird environment. If they make it cool and hip— it’s the best coolest burger joint/pub in town.

But to be fair, they are a new restaurant. So maybe they didn’t have the money to redecorate and invest. I get it. I would order take out in a heartbeat here. Great food - fair prices- but Decor and environment need’s help. Take a look for yourself. But...
