Goldy's Corner — Restaurant in Idaho

Great place to study; not too loud, not awkwardly silent. The tea selection is fantastic, and the gunpowder green is my go to for long, late-night study sessions. I love the large windows that let in lots of natural light and allow for some stellar people-watching. I always try to get a booth, since the tables better fit my laptop, a notebook, and a textbook (and they're comfy!), but there are a couple of tables that are also large enough that are not booths. There are easy to access outlets and free wi-fi. The quiche is delicious, and I find myself taking a study break to grab a tasty mimosa more often than I'd like to admit. I stopped in to grab one of their premade fruit parfaits near the end of the day and the girl who was working was so nice and helpful even though it was near closing. The parfait was the best one I’ve ever had, the ratio of fruit was perfect (I know that sounds trivial but it made this parfait stand out) and I also ended up grabbing one of their homemade mini pot pies as well and oh my gosh…. I warmed it up in the oven at home and it was to die for. Easily the best chicken pot pie I’ve ever had. All around it was such a good experience and I will be making this spot a regular place for a quick and easy snack! I didn’t catch the gals name who was working but she made my day brighter and was wearing some darn cute...

I greatly appreciated my dining experience, primarily due to the exceptional culinary skills demonstrated by the grill chef. However, I must express my disappointment with the service I received from the cashier with long hair. Regrettably, he declined my request to purchase three Sunrise Mimosas, alleging that I exhibited inappropriate behavior without substantiating such claims. My intention was simply to purchase these beverages for three lovely women accompanying me. It is disheartening to encounter such a service refusal due to what I perceive as a lack of professionalism. I believe that as an owner, it may be prudent to scrutinize his suitability...
