My family and I visited this location on Saturday 8/2/2019. Upon going in we were informed there would be a 25 minute wait. No biggie. We gave our name and number and went over to the mall for a bit to pass the time as we had a 3 and 6 year old with us. We went back about 20 minutes later expecting a short wait. We sit down to wait a moment and when asked if we check-in we said yes and gave our name. The lady checked the list 3 times and didn't see our name. The gentleman came over and told us they tried contacting us and told us it kept telling our number was rejected every time they tried contacting us. Not sure why but ok. No big deal, we weren't even expecting to have been contacted yet. We were sat down and our waiter eventually came over rudely- as expected. He started taking orders and when he came to my 3 and 6 year old her were taken back at the rudeness he didn't sway and continued pressing them to make their own orders when dad and I tried to let him know what each of them wanted. They didn't want hats and he didn't make them but that was about the only time he was less rude to them. After placing our order the family who we were seated with received their food a good 5-10 minutes before our food came and out of kindness they sat there staring at their food the entire time waiting for our food to come. Even after telling them they should eat so it wouldn't get cold they wouldn't. Our food came and we enjoyed our food. I wasn't a fan of our dinner show though. There was a bride-to-be in the restaurant. A waitress put her on stage on a bar stool and then turned on Ginuwine's Pony. Let's take a moment and think about where this may be going. That's right, the male servers started grinding on her while on stage. Not only did they grind on her a man ended up mounting her and grinding all over her and she ended up having money shoved down her shirt. My smallest was fortunately in a position she was blocked by a pole by I had to quickly find a way to distract my 6 year old he was wanting to watch said show. For a family friendly/fun restaurant I am appalled at this. I have been to a different location and did not see such...
Read moreWow, I’m still not entirely sure what just happened... I am visiting from out of town on a work trip and it was time for food after a long day. I saw the hostess and was told that they had no table available, but full service was available at the bar. So I headed there and grabbed a high top by the bar. After 5-10 minutes as I was reading the news on my phone, a larger, short black lady came over and without any greeting or introductions demanded to see my ID. A little taken back by the abruptness of it all and being 39 wasn’t expecting it, I fumbled for my wallet and as I was grabbing it told her that I was just going to order a coke. She said I was sitting at the bar, so she needed to see ID - which was a perfectly reasonable explanation for me. I showed her my driving license from my wallet viewing window but she demanded I remove it. Again, a bit brisk and abrupt but ok. As I was pulling the license out she again snapped and said ‘is that all you came in for, a coke’ in an incredibly sarcastic tone. Wow! At this point I had enough and this was obviously not going to get better any time soon so I told her I think it’s best I left. Her reply was ‘good’ as she turned her back and stormed off.
On my way out I told the hostess and I’m guessing the duty manager what transpired, but I didn’t get a reaction, explanation or apology - just a stare. Sigh.
I’m still not entirely sure how this spiral led out of control and why she didn’t treated me the way she did or if I somehow triggered something? All I can speculate is that she wasn’t interested in serving a single person who wanted food but no alcohol - the big spending drunk crowds are all she wants to do.
I ended up just up the road at Primanti Bros and a very pleasant and happy server and environment - quite different and it helped cheer me...
Read moreI would give less than 1 star, if possible. When our party entered they told us they could seat us right away. After waiting 25 minutes I asked how much longer. They told us our name wasn’t on the wait list. We needed to go on the waitlist and our name would be on the bottom. After a discussion, they did seat us, but told us that our server would be a bar staff member. We were fine with that. She came over, slammed the paper on the table and hit one of the children in eye with the paper, which made them cry. We ordered our food. It took over an hour to receive our food. She came to the table and told us that the reason our food was taking so long was because of the chicken on my Caesar salad. At the time we ordered our food, majority of the tables were vacant. When the food came out, the chicken was cold, not even room temperature. We were in the back of the room and one of the children at our table had a friend at a table in the front of the room and went over to talk to their friend. A server yelled at them so harshly they started to cry. Even people at other tables were stopping their servers and telling them they were way out of line with the child, and needed to stop, it was ridiculous. This was a horrible experience altogether. I get sarcasm, that isn’t what I’m basing this review on. An absolute...
