My company is Commonwealth Logistics and I am an owner-operator that has booked freight with Vickie Nguyen and the SPOT Freight Group for close to a year now and look forward to more business in the future. They deserve 5 STARS * for always working with us to find freight that fits our lanes that make the loads more economical and profitable for our small business. They have offered us a dedicated daily lane that has made all the difference in the world with the growth of our business so much that my wife has went and got a CDL to haul more of their freight in the future and grow our company to a new level and plan on buying a second truck sometime soon. There have been times when everything that could go wrong did go wrong on our end because let's face it in the trucking business that is a given fact and you never know when it could happen. They have always been professional and respectful when we had to be taken off a load for some reason beyond our control and still call us back if they have the same load in the future and always send us an email checking to see if we have availability for other lanes too. Their logistics team are available 24/7 which means a lot in the trucking business when you are trying to get customer problems solved when you are delivering freight to customers all hours of the day and night. If you are looking for a broker that treats you honest, fair and with respect call SPOT Freight Group and they will work with you to help you find freight that fits your needs and in the process make more money, more home time, less miles, less time looking on load boards. They ended up giving us a dedicated lane Monday through Friday so all I had to do was find a backhaul back to my home terminal which worked out great because no more over the road sleeping in truck and having to live in truck stops, which is what we were doing prior to booking loads with SPOT. I can't say enough about how good they have treated us and like I said before we hope to do much more business with Vickie Nguyen, Jacob, Matt, Yohan, Erin and the list is entirely too long to list all of the logistics personnel that you have at hand when you book freight with Spot. You get the entire SPOT Freight Group as a team and they have become a part of our company family, or that is the way we feel about the relationship we have built with them. The opportunity they have given us is tremendous and can’t wait to see what the future holds for my business. Give them a call you won’t be sorry and let them know where and what you want and discuss what kind of freight options they can come up for you. 5* STARS and then some is how I rate their business and the employees you will have on hand to help you with booking their freight will be astounding!!! Thanks Vickie and all the rest of you guys at SPOT Freight Group for all your loads you book with us, you guys are not just brokers to us you are friends! DANNY &...

Spot Freight in Indianapolis is hands down one of the worst brokerages I’ve ever dealt with in my entire trucking career. If you’re a driver or an owner-operator, save yourself the headache and stay as far away from them as possible.
Here’s what happened: I booked a load with them 60+ hours in advance, fully confirmed, everything set. I planned my route, burned my time, and got to the shipper 2 hours early for a 9/9/2025, 2:30 PM pickup. When I was literally 7 minutes away (3 miles out), the Spot broker calls me and says it’s just a “potential load” and that he’s taking me off it because he “can’t take risks.”
Excuse me? What kind of garbage excuse is that? After wasting 2 days of planning, hours of driving, and fuel money, they just shrug and cancel like it’s a game. To make it worse, as soon as he pulled me off the load, the broker stopped answering his phone completely, straight up ghosted me.
No TONU, no compensation, no professionalism. Just arrogance and disrespect. This isn’t logistics, this is a clown show run by fancy-talking kids in a college dorm environment who have zero understanding of what it means to run a truck, pay expenses, and actually work for a living. They don’t care about contracts, they don’t care about commitments, and they sure as hell don’t care about drivers.
Spot Freight is everything that’s wrong with this industry: flashy office, smooth sales pitch, and absolutely no integrity. They will screw you over without hesitation, waste your time, cost you money, and then hide behind the phone when it’s time to be accountable.
If you value your business, your time, and your sanity, never trust Spot Freight with anything. They are unreliable, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. This isn’t just a one-star operation, this is a scam disguised as...
Read moreVickie Nguyen likes to bark empty threats, about filing freight guard reports, my company refused to redeliver without an updated ratecon with the agreed upon redelivery charges and subsequent storage charges.
Took her "team" 5 days to figure it out. I guess we're one carrier you didn't get an opportunity to burn on redelivery and storage charges. Spot had to do something, that in this instance they normally refuse to do (the negative reviews solidifies that point) by wearing down carriers on these issues, by referring to a accessorial link. I booked a load with a human, it was undeliverable by no fault of my companies point a to point b was fulfilled. So talking to a human being to resolve it, is how you conduct business in it's basic form. Telling our office staff the paperwork is straightened out 2 days later and to redeliver without any discussion of additional charges being addressed isn't how it works. Learn that in this business if you are a broker (dispatcher, carrier representative, carrier development, thief) whatever title your company bestows upon you, you'll never be more important than carriers in the equation, and never weild more power. Our financial responsibilities pales in comparison to yours.
Again whatever your title is, it's a title that is irrelevant to my company when it comes to being properly and fairly compensated. So to think you can bully carriers is laughable. Clearly you (Spot and it's authorized representatives) realized you didn't have a leg to stand on. Pretty sure this won't get a "response from owner" because I'd really like to impress upon you the basic tenants of business ethics. Starting with your rude carnival barking employee...
