⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Ruth's Chris Steak House - A Culinary Delight!
Aloha! Last night, my friends and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Ruth's Chris Steak House, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped foot inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for what turned out to be an exceptional evening. However, the true highlight of the night was undoubtedly our outstanding server, Danika.
Danika's enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine passion for her job shone through as she expertly guided us through the menu and provided us with fantastic recommendations. Her attentiveness was unmatched, and she made us feel like we were the only table in the entire restaurant, despite it being a bustling Friday night. Her radiant smile was infectious and added an extra layer of joy to the entire dining experience.
Speaking of the menu, the culinary delights offered at Ruth's Chris Steak House were beyond compare. I opted for the Petite Filet with Jumbo Shrimp, and it was an absolute masterpiece. Cooked to perfection, the tenderness of the steak combined with the succulent jumbo shrimp left my taste buds in awe. The side dishes were equally impressive - the cream spinach was a heavenly delight, and the mashed potatoes were velvety smooth and full of flavor.
One thing that sets Ruth's Chris Steak House apart from other fine dining establishments is their consideration for health-conscious diners. The menu offers a delightful selection of healthy food options, making it an excellent choice for losing weight & those striving to maintain their fitness goals without sacrificing taste or quality.
The entire evening was a celebration of culinary perfection, and I wholeheartedly attribute a significant part of this success to our exceptional server, Danika. Her impeccable service elevated an already extraordinary dining experience to an entirely new level.
In conclusion, Ruth's Chris Steak House is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates exquisite cuisine, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend requesting Danika as your server - her professionalism, charm, and genuine passion for hospitality will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.
Thank you, Ruth's Chris Steak House, for an unforgettable night of culinary bliss. We cannot wait to return and savor more of the delectable offerings that your restaurant and Danika...
Read moreMy wife and I were looking for a lovely dining experience for our wedding anniversary, and we knew from past experience Ruth's Chris could provide it. We made the mistake, however, of booking our reservation on a Saturday night when the state band finals were in town. The crowd was noisy and excited, and so the atmosphere in the restaurant was not the quiet, romantic place we'd hoped for. Not the restaurant's fault it's so popular, however. Next time we'll book on a weeknight and check to be sure there is less going on (i.e. no Pacers game, either).
Nonetheless, the food at Ruth's Chris Steak house is ridiculously delicious. Love the fact that it comes out on such a hot plate. You can count on it keeping the steak warm throughout your meal. We started with a wedge salad and had potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach as our side dishes. I loved the side dishes almost as much as I loved our classic filet! Everything was so good.
As for service, our waiter never brought bread to the table (not that we needed it, but still ...) and I wasn't clear by the end of the meal if the restaurant was going to treat us to something for our anniversary as they had in the past, so I asked our waiter. He said he was going to surprise us by bringing it out with the check. That's all well and good, but I really think the goal in doing that is to get the guests to order dessert (more $$), then surprise them with something extra. The problem with that approach is that it can result in a complete waste of food, something I am passionately against. I saw the couple at the table next to us (who got bread, by the way) ended up taking just a bite of the carrot cake cupcake treat because they had already eaten the dessert they ordered. They left the rest of it to be thrown away. I was glad I'd asked because the waiter then brought ours out. It was just the right amount of treat. We each had a few bites of it--it tasted luxurious--and it topped off a great meal.
I realize this is kind of a mixed review for such a grand meal, but that was our experience. The food was as wonderful as ever, but between the atmosphere that night and our server being a bit off his game, it wasn't quite the five-star romantic experience I'd hoped for. We'd still go back, though! The food...
Read moreUpon walking in the environment was horrible. It was Valentine's Day. The day was ruined. The two staff members at the desk were not professional at all. The looks they gave my spouse, and I were horrible. We stood at the desk waiting to be seated (had reservations) after one of the staff members told the other one no- the other picked up the menus to seat us. Then advised my spouse he had to take off his hat or they could not seat us. I was booking a ride home when she advised she could sit us at the bar when the table was cleared off. There was only one table that was dirty. Instead of sitting us at the clean table we waited for about 15 minutes(booking our ride home while waiting) They finally cleaned the dirty table and sat us at the one that had been clean. Can you imagine? Still sitting after 10 minutes a waiter finally took our drink order. We thought let's give them a second chance and ordered food. We were advised 20 minutes canceled the return trip home. The service was horrible. And while waiting we seen another young man enter with a hat on that was seated with no issues. I called the waiter to bag the food enough was enough. the wait for the food was more like 45 minutes. They forgot to provide the desert that was included in the $160. meals. With the drinks we ordered the bill was a little over $200. I even contacted the restaurant to speak to the manager. The girl on the line was the same one at the desk. I had to repeat 4 times that I would like to speak to a manager as she was trying to get information explained everything to the manager who assured me that she would investigate. I was advised that she would contact me that evening or the next day. She never responded. February 16th I received a txt message from Janet Young asking me to leave a google review- that it would mean the world to them. Well, Janet Young, here is my review. This was my first and last visit to Ruth Chris downtown. I will go back to 86th street, where the service and atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are courteous and...
