We went in for my birthday tonight and waited forever for our food. There were 8 of us. One person came shortly after we ordered and placed his order separately. A server walked out of the kitchen with his dinner then turned around when they noticed the rest of us werent eating. He used to be a server. I'm currently a server. So we knew his food was going to sit under a heat lamp until ours was ready. 20 more minutes passed and we finally got our food, but the first meal was cold. My friend said it was cold and our server offered to heat it up. It was brought back out shortly and our server stopped by several minutes later to check on him. When my friend said it was okay but still not warm the server shrugged and said "I tried". No manager stopped by. No one addressed that we waited 45 minutes for our food. Nothing was taken off our checks. My mom asked if it was extra to change her side and he said no. When we got our check she was charged 1.50 to change her side. I pointed it out and the server said he would just pay for it. I know he just had his manager take it off but, dont try to make us feel bad for you. It was clear that he forgot to ring in our food but no one apologized or even acknowledged that we waited for so long. I was shocked that nothing was done to make up for the extremely long wait. My mom paid and doesnt like to make a scene but I wish shed asked to speak to a manager because this was unacceptable. Waiting 45 minutes for food in a nearly empty restaurant on a Monday night is not how I wanted to spend my birthday and certainly not what my parents wanted to spend $100+ on. We tipped well because karma but just mentioning that we were waiting or apologizing for the delay would have been nice. When food is cold or wrong you're supposed to fix it or take it off the bill but nothing was done. Next time well just go to my restaurant on my day off to celebrate my birthday. So...
Read moreWe have been to this applebee's a couple times and each time has been less than satisfactory. Usually I don't post reviews my wife is the one that does it but today put me over the edge. Applebee's has lowered their syrup content in their pop causing the pop to taste more like soda water than pop for one, It's not just this applebee's it's multiple applebee's I ate at 1 A few weeks ago in North Carolina and it was the same thing taste like soda water not pop, secondly The service I understand the server was new it's expected to have some mistakes, but the main mistake was the food. we ordered a steak and shrimp with a double order of mashed potatoes, honey peppered chicken pasta, and a Quesadilla Burger with a baked potato. The steak was overcooked, remade and overcooked again. It was supposed to be medium well and was so hard and overcooked it was almost unedible. The honey peppered chicken pasta was OK but there was not enough honey pepper sauce but that's something I could deal with. But the case of the quesadilla burger was even listed on the reciept as no pink and was undercooked had pink in the middle the baked potato was undercooked and was still hard, like it had 30 seconds of cook time. Now as for the manager and the server they both did an amazing job I appreciate the discount on the food because of the messed up food and I appreciate the server doing what she could to help with this issue as well. I do not feel as I will be going back to applebee's for a while hopefully thopefully they're able to fix the issues and possibly need to retrain...

My family and I placed a pickup order on the evening of Monday, 3/10/2025, totaling about $80. When we arrived, we were given the wrong order. When we asked for the correct items, the staff member helping us was rude and acted as if we were bothering her. I showed her my receipt on my phone, but she insisted she needed approval from the manager, even though we had already paid. Her attitude made the situation even more frustrating.
When we got home, the food was a complete disappointment. My mac and cheese with honey chicken had no cheese—just plain noodles. My son’s mac and cheese was the same. The $9 artichoke dip was ridiculously small, nothing like what you get when dining in. The queso dip was also a tiny portion for $7. For the price we paid, the quality was unacceptable. It looked like kids had prepared the food.
We were visiting from Charlotte, NC, and just wanted a good meal before heading home. Instead, we got awful service and poorly made food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They need serious improvement in both customer service and food preparation. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Update! They told me to go to a link and voice my concerns no one ever contacted me back $100 waisted here and no...
