I treated my dear Mother to an early dinner today, Wednesday, 12 March 2025, where we had the pleasure of being served by Miss Mady B. at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in North Canton, Ohio. My word, we were deeply impressed by her genuine humility, affable disposition, and extraordinary kindness. Mady is a truly down-to-earth individual; she embodies the ebullience and spirit of exceptional customer service — with a remarkably refreshing touch of congeniality.

[Mady’s] congenial nature was evident from the moment we interacted [with] her. Despite her extensive, perspicacious knowledge of the dinner menu and her evident skill in recommending the perfect meal or treat, she remained modest and focused entirely on making sure each customer (including us) had a great dining experience. Very attentive, too! Give that young lady her flowers and decorate her with her very own merit badge, for she is indeed an exceptionally hard worker, managing multiple tables and hungry diners concomitantly! Her genuine approach made us feel valued, welcomed and appreciated throughout our visit. What truly set Mady apart was her heartwarming gesture that demonstrated her extraordinary kindness. Vacillating between the various menu options, I had enquired about the dessert options. Mady’s explanation was empirically incisive, saying that the cannoli’s* were ‘absolutely delicious!’, a simple yet profoundly impactful act of generosity and honesty. I thought it was a most magnificent, hospitable gesture! Her willingness to help others, without seeking recognition or reward, speaks volumes [about] her humility and convivial benevolence.

Mady, in another magnanimous gesture, recommended that we try the Alfredo on our next visit. (I forgot the proper name of the dish as it is printed on the menu. I do apologise, folks.) Today, we respectfully requested that our orders come without bacon (I am a scrupulous vegetarian; my Mum and I do not consume pork), which she assured me. A few short minutes later, our food came exactly how we requested it. Generously portioned. Gorgeous presentation, too. (Fancy having a look at the complimentary photographs.) Thanks, Mady, for accommodating our meals and dietary preferences. Mady’s courteous actions have turned our visit to Carrabba’s Italian Grill in North Canton into something special. Her blend of modesty, warmth, knowledge of the menu and genuine care [for] others sets a high standard for customer service. I was astonished and amazed by her one-of-a-kind charm, energy, humour and vivacity.

Additionally, the dynamism of her serving skills was simply sublime. She is a spectacularly swift worker! Right. If you fancy an experience that goes beyond just great lunch and/or dinner cuisine, Mady’s exceptional service, cheerful and confident attitude, friendly and warm personality, and humble spirit make her a standout choice. Indubitably.

Thank you again, Mady, for making our visit so memorable. Your humility and kindness are indeed notable hallmarks; they are truly appreciated and make you a remarkably valued part of the Carrabba’s team! A special shoutout to Ms. Ashley C., who is another hard-working team member. Ashley C. was on Managerial duty as I understand it; she went out of her way to chat with us and made us feel welcome. In sooth, every member of the Carrabba’s team works extraordinarily hard, as I have observed them from our booth/table. Indeed. As a team, they move in perfect unison. The team operate flawlessly, in other words.

It is difficult to imagine more cordial origins than those of the genius now serving at Carrabba’s in North Canton, who is, in this chap’s humble estimation, nothing less than the finest servers in town. We will be returning to this establishment soon, hungry for more.

Cheerio,

H.

A Culinary Masterpiece at Carrabba's Italian Grill - Canton, Ohio

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I had the immense pleasure of dining at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Canton, Ohio, on Friday night, 7/26, and it was an evening that will forever be etched in our memories. We were celebrating our recent marriage, and every aspect of our experience was nothing short of extraordinary.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed by Manager Jen, whose warmth and hospitality set the perfect tone for the evening. Her gracious demeanor made us feel immediately at home. We were then escorted to our table by the effervescent Delbert, whose infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm added a wonderful touch of joy to our night.

But the true star of the evening was our server, Ashley. Words cannot adequately describe the level of service and excellence she brought to our dining experience. Ashley was a veritable maestro of the dining room, orchestrating an evening that was flawless from start to finish. Her attentiveness, charisma, and genuine passion for her work shone through in every interaction. She anticipated our needs with remarkable precision and made us feel like the most important guests in the restaurant. Ashley's dedication and exceptional service transformed our evening into an unforgettable celebration.

Now, let me rave about the food. We began our culinary journey with the Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, and it was nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. The shrimp scampi was a symphony of flavors, with succulent shrimp bathed in a luscious garlic butter sauce that left us yearning for more. The sausage stuffed mushrooms were an explosion of savory goodness, perfectly seasoned and utterly delectable.

Our choice of drink, the Blackberry Sangria, was a refreshing masterpiece that complemented our meal beautifully. Each sip was a delightful burst of fruity elegance. And then came the grand finale: the Chocolate and Caramel Cheesecake. This dessert was a divine creation, a heavenly blend of rich chocolate and velvety caramel that melted in our mouths and left us in pure bliss.

Carrabba's Italian Grill has always been a favorite of ours, but this particular evening was beyond exceptional. The combination of phenomenal food, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere made our celebration truly magical. Ashley's unparalleled dedication to making our evening special was the highlight of an already perfect night.

If you're seeking a dining experience that transcends the ordinary and enters the realm of the extraordinary, look no further than Carrabba's Italian Grill in Canton, Ohio. Our heartfelt thanks to Ashley, Jen, and Delbert for creating an evening we will cherish forever. We will undoubtedly return, eager for more of the magic that only Carrabba's can deliver. Highly, highly...

I'm not sure if everyone was just overwhelmed due to it being mothers Day or what. Either way, it is completely unacceptable. Started by the hostest just having an attitude. After we were seated,( in-between to large parties, I wasn't even able to scoot my chair back because my chair was already touching the back of someone else chair. ) two other groups were seated after us. They both got drinks and appetizers before we could even order drinks, roughly 10 minutes of sitting, wondering who our server even was. We had our son with us ( he is 10 ). For some reason, we did not receive a childs memu for him. We finally ordered two appetizers, an order of four cheese sausage stuffed mushrooms and cheese sticks. Both were great. My son ordered spaghetti came out good, according to him. I ordered porkchops, one was slightly burnt but was edible, and my wife ordered a medium steak which came out very rare, the waitress noticed how rare it was before my wife even said something to her. They took the steak back and re-cooked it to a medium rare. The waitress asked if it was better, which it was better than what was originally brought out, but it was not what was ordered. By this time, my wife was so disappointed with the experience at this point that she just said it was fine. Her vegetables were supposed to be sautéed. Instead, they were steamed but still edible. Again, not what was ordered. When we were done eating and waiting for the check she brought out our three to go boxes and placed our check on the table, then quickly went to her next table. I watched her place other customers' food in their boxes, but we had to put our own in, which was not that big of a deal just added to the not so great experience. Our bill was not comped in any way for the inconveniences, which is not mandatory but would have kinda helped with the overall...

Great quality food and service is always very attentive. They run awesome happy hour and weekday specials. So order that Sicilian Prickly Pear Margarita and enjoy your amazingly fresh dishes! On this visit, I had a taste for steak, so I went with the filet and was blown away by how tender and cooked to perfection it was. It always makes me nervous ordering a steak from a restaurant that specializes in Italian or other cuisine, but they made me a believer with this meal! I would also recommend their Four-Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms for an appetizer, the Pollo Rosa Maria is delish as well, and the husband's favorite is the Italian Classic Trio. If I didn't give the complimentary warm bread and dipping oil with herbs an honorable mention, I'd be doing a disservice! Also as a restaurant located on "The Strip," we have found if we get there before 5:30 we rarely run into a wait. The waiting area can get busy though beyond that, depending on the night you choose, but it's beyond worth it! Keep up the great work Carrabba's Italian Grill!

Haven't been to Carrabba's in years and was definitely expecting better. Overall it was just kinda average. We had a party of 6. A few of us were able to wait at the bar and get drinks which started great. Great service at the bar. There were like 3 hostesses, they set up our table near the bar, but didn't really communicate we were able to sit, we had to ask. Service at the table was pretty slow. Drinks took to long and could see drinks waiting to be served. Our server mentioned having to get kids cups from Outback. It also took entirely to long to get butter and was told that the salad prep was behind who gets butter... The food was pretty average as well. I had the chicken Alfredo which seemed to be clumped together. A bit too much sauce drowned the dish. The restaurant was clean, seemed well staffed, everyone in uniform, just expected more from service and food quality.
