Pizza Shuttle — Restaurant in Kansas City

Update: I been coming to this place since they opened and to the Lawrence location before that and everything used to be great , great pizza , great customer service ,well it as changed drastically so now they drop from a 5 to a 1 star because they won't stop overcharging and when asking why they did it the manager kept stumbling over his words trying to come up with some bs, and it was very clear! so they really need some better management here, since my last review it's been a change of staff at least 3 times and the current manager again overcharged me with no explanation, and told me that I cussed out his employee the other day when I called in which I never did, I mean I've been a supporter of the place since day one and tipped them quite a bit over the years but I will have to find a different place now, good management is getting harder to find , at least he could have enough common sence as a manager to explain the extra cost in a clever or funny way and would have been cool but he fell on his face. this places customer service is TRASH! food looked amazing and it was the only place still open offering delivery on a late sunday after a volleyball tournament. i ordered online and submitted my order at 10:55 PM, THEN received a notification letting me know it wouldnt be ready until 12:30 AM. after a little, i decided i couldnt wait any longer to eat so i found something else. obviously i needed to call to cancel my order, so i did. a very nice lady answered the phone and asked me to hold while she pulled up my order, then i heard her call the manager over (John or something) and told him i wanted to cancel. he then got on the line and said “is this paxton?” and when i confirmed, he just said “so whats going on?” i just let him know i needed to cancel my delivery order. he refused immediately and said “no i have it ready, its ready to go out” which i replied “id still like to cancel my order as ive made other arrangements” he still egged on and asked “can i just ask what the problem is?” so i replied “its just taking too long, id like to cancel and get a refund.” he started throwing a fit about how he spoke to me and quoted me the right amount of time, when i never placed the order over the phone in the first place. then when i told him that, he just kept speaking over me and shouting “weve done the pizza in under an hour” so i finally requested him to drop it, move on, cancel my order and give me my refund. to which he hung up the...

This was my second visit to Pizza Shuttle and is just as incredible as the first time. Pizza Shuttle is the best-known secret pizza place in Kansas City! The dough and toppings are all made fresh and prepped daily. Pizzas are made to order and you can absolutely taste the difference between them and every other pizza joint. The owner and staff have been very friendly both times I've visited helping answer any questions and offering walk-in special discounts.

So far I have had the Farm Shuttle (all vegetarian with mushrooms, onions, black olives, sliced tomatoes, and green peppers) and handmade cheeseticks. Incredible! This visit I got the Mac n Cheese Shuttle no bacon with an alfredo base and my partner got the Crab Rangoon Shuttle. My favorites so far! I have never had a pizza with flavors like these, ever.

I appreciate how easy it is to modify any of their pizza shuttles for vegetarians while not losing any flavor. I also like that they have late night hours so for service industry workers like myself to actually get an affordable, hot meal.
