This is the first time in the LAST time I will ever order from Buffalo Wild Wings. I don't know if it's just the Kenosha Wisconsin location, but the food was sub-par, the portions were incredibly small and the prices are incredibly high for what you get. I ordered the large basket of onion rings for $8.99. I received six onion rings for the large basket!!! Four normal sized rings and two tiny ones from the center of the onion. I called the restaurant and asked how many people the large onion ring basket is supposed to feed. The lady told me she would get the manager. The manager picked up the phone and I asked her the same question and she said it's meant for two people. I told her there were six onion rings in the basket. She said that the large basket weighs 10 oz and that "the larger onion rings probably weigh a lot." I tried several times to let her know there were a total of ONLY six onion rings in the basket, she was rude and short with me. I got off the phone, removed Buffalo Wild Wings app from my phone immediately. I'll never spend another dime at Buffalo Wild Wings. The boneless chicken wings are about the size of a generous Kentucky Fried Chicken popper or a small McDonald's McNugget. The chicken tenders were small but they were the only item in the order that tasted good, not exceptional, just good. I wish I had weighed the 6 onion rings, because they certainly didn't weigh 10 oz of onion rings, I think we got a regular size portion however the manager wouldn't listen to a word I said. So we each got two regular sized rings and a small one, 6 rings for $9.00 to share between 2 people!?!? REALLY!?!? It really doesn't matter, because the management doesn't really care. Next time I want chicken and I want to spend $50.00, I'll go to Kentucky Fried Chicken or Popeyes. Buffalo Wild Wings is the same type of food hidden behind a restaurant facade. When you order from Popeyes or Kentucky Fried Chicken you get much more quality and quantity for your hard earned money. The management there is also much more receptive. If a mistake is made, they're happy to correct it to keep their customers happy and returning...
Read moreFood was okay. We ordered wings.
Host who sat us said they would bring a menu for our 4 year old. Menu never came. Our waitress/server didn’t come to us for 20 minutes(I texted my business partner and compared the time to when the server came) Once she came she said “I’ll be right with you” and came back 5 minutes later.
We ordered drinks(soda) and food. Drinks came out. Food came out just fine.
Server didn’t come back until our food was almost gone and didn’t refill our drinks, even though they were noticeably empty(clear plastic cups)
Wife took our daughter to the restroom and said she saw our server sitting down on her phone.
10 minutes later our server comes to the table next to us(who had just got sat 5 minutes prior) and took their order. Server looked at our table and drinks and walked away. As she walked away I noticed she took her phone out and went to the host table and was texting/playing/something on her cell phone for a few minutes.
Server came back with the other tables drinks then asked if we were ready.
I asked for the check and paid.
If I had it my way I would have not tipped a single dollar, but the wife said “we have to”. The server only had TWO tables, one of them was ours and the other was the new sat table. She was not busy at all. Plenty of time to tend to us more than once in an hours time.
Men’s restroom also didn’t have paper towels and when I politely said “Hey bro there’s no paper towels in the men’s room” the guy I informed looked at me like he was mad that I let him know it was empty?
Horrible experience at the Kenosha/Pleasant Prairie location. Wife mentioned it was probably due to me wearing a Kenosha Sheriff...
Read moreThis is my Birthday week, and my goal is to conquer a "Wing Challenge" at every new location I visit. Of course I am a WINNER AT THE BWW CHALLENGE CHAMP 2:0 of 2 visits.
Our waiter was super awesome, and so were the other employees. They had each other's backs, so no customer had to wait for anything. With Buffalo Wild Wings being so busy every visit we make, I can't think of anything bad to say. Even though they work long shifts, I'm sure in K-Town it's the Buck's are in the finals, OT being required they all were still upbeat. We shared some laughs because I love to laugh and make other's laugh. I even wrote a note to my server and the rest of the staff on my receipt to let them know how much I appreciated being able to celebrate my Birthday, with them a little late. I've had my Birthday on the 5th taken over by 4th of July festivities many times, and it doesn't bother me a bit. I received a lot of belated Birthday wishes from staff I came across. I tip very well, the reason is once you've been a waiter/waitress you know the grind and appreciate them when they're good at their job. Just remember Tip suggestion's are a tool to help a customer tip on the basis of: 10% Okay, 15% Good, 20% Great, but for my waiter he received more the 20% for outstanding! Honestly, lol, I go to get full on the BWW Challenge, no need for the free scoop of ice cream the only heat for me is the temperature of the freshly cooked wings. My second item is always the Delicious one of a kind Chocolate Cake that still comes with a scoop of ice cream, and is worth a Lactaid Pill! P.S. better prizes and bibs please. I am gifted below my neck, but don't think I don't recover...
