While in Ketchikan we decided to visit Meng & Ging's Kitchen for some Filipino eats and it was on point! The Chicken Adobe, pancit and lumpia were absolutely fantastic. Along with the service, as the staff was friendly and delivered our food promptly and hot off the stove. The restaraunt overlooks the bay and though it might be busy outside it was peaceful and quite inside of Meng & Ging's Kitchen. I was looking forward to getting a Red Horse beer, but sadly they did not stock any booze. It's okay though because the food is delicious! Thank you.

Food is okay. Like you would only dine here if youre craving filipino food. otherwise no, because of the price and some is bland. The ambiance is somehow homey. They have a heater which is great. . Wifi has been around for quite some time, however they still charge 1$ per hour. If you have more time to walk go and walk more.

After almost a week of cruise food, this meal was an amazing and authentic taste of home. If you miss homemade Filipino food, don't miss this. Of the ship it's a short walk and if you want a beer afterwards, Asylum is across street.

A Delightful Experience with Kiko, the Charming Cashier.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Filipino restaurant, and I must say that the highlight of my visit was the delightful encounter with Kiko, the fantastic cashier. From the moment I entered the restaurant, Kiko's warm smile and genuine enthusiasm made me feel incredibly welcome.

First and foremost, Kiko's exceptional customer service skills are truly commendable. He exuded a genuine passion for his work, taking the time to engage with every customer and create a comfortable atmosphere. Kiko patiently answered all of my questions about the menu, making sure I understood each dish's ingredients and flavors. His knowledge and enthusiasm for Filipino cuisine were truly impressive.

Kiko also possessed an incredible ability to multitask efficiently, effortlessly managing the bustling restaurant while ensuring that every customer received personalized attention. Despite the busy environment, he maintained his composure and always had a smile on his face. Kiko's professionalism and dedication to his role were evident throughout my entire dining experience.

Moreover, Kiko's infectious positive energy brought an extra layer of joy to my visit. His friendly demeanor and cheerful personality created an inviting ambiance that made me feel like a valued guest. He took the time to engage in casual conversation, sharing insights about Filipino culture and recommending some of his personal favorite dishes. It was evident that Kiko genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for each customer.

Not only did Kiko excel in customer service, but his attention to detail was also remarkable. He ensured that every order was accurately taken and efficiently processed. Kiko's efficiency played a significant role in maintaining the restaurant's smooth operations, and his dedication to providing exceptional service was evident in every transaction.

In addition to his outstanding professional qualities, Kiko's genuine kindness truly made a lasting impression on me. Throughout my visit, he went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional. It's rare to encounter someone so dedicated to their craft and genuinely passionate about making customers happy.

In conclusion, my dining experience at the Filipino restaurant was elevated by the presence of Kiko, the lovely cashier. His exceptional customer service skills, warm personality, and genuine enthusiasm left an indelible mark on me. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and experiencing Kiko's exceptional service firsthand. He truly embodies the spirit of hospitality and sets an outstanding example for others in the industry.

Thank you, Kiko, for making my visit memorable. You are a true asset to the restaurant, and I wish you continued success in...

This was our last cruise port stop on Sunday. After an hour and a half hike, my sister and I were roaming around for a bite and the aroma (coming thru the closed door) drew me in. This review is more so for the guy who was taking orders — you were so nice! I should have asked your name to personally thank you for your kindness. While it was a wait for our order, it was totally worth it. The next counter has ready-to-go options if you’re in a hurry but I’m glad I waited for my chicken pancit, lumpia, and fried rice. There’s a bench outside a back door that has a nice view. We were watching moon jellies as we stuffed our faces.

I got back in line for a BOMB mango popsicle and the guy at the front was kind enough to bring one out so I didn’t have to wait again. I’d fly back from LA right now for this customer service...

I’ve eaten in 4 times and taken out 3 times at this place. Most authentic Pilipino food in town as far as the flavor goes. Considering it being in Alaska I expect very few of the ingredients to be substituted. But the tastes are spot on. Glad they have a dish I didn’t expect at all to be made here.

Dining area is spacious, and seating are comfortably spaced out so that your not elbowing or bumping chairs with the stranger next to you.

It’s always clean when I come in.

The price, however for being in Alaska. When I compare it to where I’m from. All I can say is, “Gotta have it!”

I wouldn’t recommend the Phò. It’s good soup. I just wouldn’t call it phò since it’s nothing close to the actual...
