I had very high hopes to eat here since yesterday we saw a huge crowd outside. I’m not sure if because we arrived around 9:30ish near closing time or what it was. As entering we were seated right away the front desk was nice and friendly but once we sat down and our waiter took our order she was all over the place would start with someones order and go to the next without waiting for one to finish. I ordered my daughter pasta assuming she was still taking my order and asked her about kids beverages . To my surprise I looked up and she was taking the order of my family member and I told my partner did she really walk away while I was ordering ? We ordered and she walked away assuming we were done ordering and waited about 10-15 minutes for her to come back with our drinks to tell her we didn’t finish ordering she missed someone’s order. At this point we waited about 40 min for our food the pizza wasn’t even hot like fresh and super greasy. On top of that we ordered a moose jaw cheeseburger not even looking at the menu anymore she asked us with everything the cheeseburger and started saying lettuce tomato bacon cheese and we said with everything keep in mind we weren’t looking at the menu anymore and weren’t aware of the extra charges for the burger without telling us . We literally thought the burger came with it because she was offering it at least a “just to let you know it’s extra for the toppings” that she offered. I was confused how a burger can cost 20$ when menu said 15 .if it was extra charges for the toppings it should have said it on the receipt as an itemized item usually receipt say additional topping and the additional charges. not once did she came to check on us by the time she did we were done with our dinner . My daughter was waiting for moose jaw hats to wear like everyone else and we didn’t even get them we had to go to another table that left theirs once we got up to leave . To the young lady with red hair and glasses I really hope you understand food service as I myself have worked in it an understand after a long day how you must feel but no reason to give the service you gave regardless if you were almost going home or whatever...
Read moreThis is a place we had taken our children to many times when they were young, it was out favorite place to eat whenever we go to the dells. We went this weekend for the first time in about 10 years (our kids are all older and we were trying to relive our old family vacations) and it was a horrible experience. The waiter had no personality, was in a rush and didn’t seem to care. Took our drink order and I asked for an allergy menu as I can’t eat gluten or dairy. He said he’d get me a menu but then asked if we were ready to order… we had just sat down and barely knew what we wanted to drink. I ended up ordering a burger on a gluten free bun, asked for sautéed onions and mushrooms per the allergen menu and got a side of coleslaw. I stressed that I had an allergy to gluten and dairy and he just shook his head like “yeah, whatever, I get it.“ When I received my burger it was very well cooked, had raw onions (which I didn’t mind but not what I asked for) and remnants of cooked cheese all over it like they accidentally added the cheese then tried to pull it off. I handed it back to the server and said “I can’t eat this, it has cheese all over it” He said “oh did they put cheese on it?” And proceeded to ask if I wanted it remade and I said “no thanks, I can’t trust eating here knowing they don’t take allergies seriously.” He took it off the bill but I sat there without eating while the rest of my family ate. When he came back to ask if we wanted any to go boxes he specifically asked me… dude I didn’t even get food why would I need a box lol what a joke! We still left him more than 25% tip because I’m not capable of being a jerk even though his service was horrible. During all of this I forgot to use the coupon we had (face palm). I do understand cross contamination can occur but putting on the contaminate then taking it off and serving it can cause someone to go anaphylactic (thankfully my allergy isn’t that bad). They are going to end up with a lawsuit. Needless to say I will never be back. The place has gone downhill. A visit to the table from the manager would have been nice after my experience but I guess...
Read moreI am so disappointed in this company. My friend and myself ordered $50 each worth of food for delivery. We were staying at the main Mount Olympus resort. Our orders were supposed to be delivered at 7:05 pm. Her order did not show up until 7:25. At 7:30 I called them and said my food never showed up. The lady on the phone was very rude about it saying I screwed up and placed a pick up order instead of a delivery order so my food was sitting on their pick up shelf for half an hour and this point. I told her no when I placed the order it said delivery will be at 7:05 pm. The same time as my friends order. I told her I didn’t want cold food that has been sitting around. She told me they would remake it and get it to me right away. I had a wrap, fries, pretzels, and a funnel cake. 8:06 pm now rolls around and I still haven’t gotten my food. I call again and the same lady answered (by the way she never gave me her name). I told her I still haven’t seen my food. Her words to me were it is with the driver I don’t know where he is. I will call him. Just as she calls him he showed up at our hotel door. Now an hour late from my delivery time. My friend answered it and he shoved my food at her and said here is the food sign the recipe like he didn’t want to be delivering my food to me. As he was at the door the lady came back on the phone and said he is there right now and then hung up. Nothing else was said about any kind of sorry for being an hour late, let me give you a gift certificate for breakfast, or let me refund you for all the trouble. She just hung up on me before I could say or ask anything. To top everything off the food was cold. The pretzels were hard. I just spent $50 on this food. That I could barley eat.
