Nevada Brew works downtown: an unassuming gem in the neon desert. This isn’t your typical Vegas stop—the glitz and glam are traded for something far better: a pure, unfiltered vibe that’s part laid-back lounge, part haven for anyone with a taste for craft perfection.
The first thing you notice when you walk in isn’t the smell of hops or fresh dough (though, believe me, they’re there too)—it’s the music. The kind that makes you sink deeper into your seat and feel like maybe, just maybe, time has slowed down. It’s low-key, unpretentious, yet sets the mood like a soundtrack to a perfectly scripted night. Then there’s the service. In a city known for high stakes and flashy hospitality, Nevada Brew Works. stands out for another reason: genuine warmth. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff reads the room like pros. You’re not rushed, you’re not forgotten—you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
And let’s get to it: the bourbon flight. They call it “The Golden,” but trust me, it’s anything but ordinary. With three heavyweights—Blanton’s, Elmer T. Lee, and Frey Ranch—it’s a lineup worthy of admiration. The pours are generous, each one smooth as silk, with layers of flavor that leave you wanting more. Not a bourbon fan? You will be by the time you’re through.
Then, there’s the food. The Brew Works Burger is a revelation, a testament to what a burger should be. Cooked to absolute perfection, with a juicy center and just the right amount of char, it’s served simply—no gimmicks, no frills—because it doesn’t need them. And don’t overlook the pizza; it’s the closest you’ll get to New York without a plane ticket. Thin, crisp crust, balanced toppings—it’s everything a pizza should be.
Now, the Old Fashioned. This is where their dedication to craft really shines. From the custom ice cubes that chill the bourbon to the meticulously cut orange slice, it’s not just a drink—it’s a ritual, perfected. Each sip is smooth, with a hint of citrus and bitters that complement the bourbon without overpowering it.

Read moreI recently visited Nevada Brew Works, and I must say that my experience left me with mixed feelings. While the establishment claims to be a brewery, it felt more like a cocktail bar that happened to serve beer. As someone who appreciates a good brew, I was somewhat disappointed by the emphasis on cocktails over their own beer offerings.
The atmosphere at Nevada Brew Works seemed tailored towards a different crowd, one that isn't necessarily composed of brewery enthusiasts. It appeared that the establishment was more focused on attracting a larger group of people who are passionate about cocktails. As a result, the brewery experience took a backseat.
When it came to their beer selection, I found it to be lacking in variety and depth. The options available were limited, and while the quality was decent, it didn't stand out as something exceptional. It felt as if their beer offerings were an afterthought, overshadowed by their cocktail creations.
If you're specifically seeking a true brewery experience, with a wide range of beers to explore and a focus on the craft of brewing, Nevada Brew Works might not be your ideal destination. The establishment's apparent emphasis on cocktails and catering to a different clientele detracts from what should be the main attraction for beer enthusiasts.
In summary, Nevada Brew Works is a place that seems to prioritize its cocktail offerings and cater to a crowd that may not be particularly passionate about beer. While the cocktails are impressive, the lackluster beer selection and overall atmosphere left me wanting more from a true...
Read moreAfter having decent experiences here multiple times with previous servers, and decent food. (Pizza) Today I walked in and the only guy working took his sweet time to scroll his phone before even the common service industry "hello how are ya?" Same guy aproches me at the bar and asked smuggly.. what he can get me? Now nothing wrong with the verbiage, but you can tell this pompus douche really felt he had beeter things to do by the way he said it. When I asked for a menu, he points to the qr code and says "menus there, and beer menus there" again walks away.
I watch a 12 top walk in, same service, never even greeted them nor approached the table. I order a beer and a pizza, not even a hint of attention paid during order or after. Pizza arrives its burnt to a crisp. Ive eaten here a dozen times before and have ordered the pizza at least 8 of 12 times. It was way beyond the level of nice char I have had previouy at this establishment.
When I say, "hey thats a bit burnt," same dude immediately replies "yeah.. its a wood fire oven. I responded that I know and that ive been here several times and its never been close to as burnt as it was today. He then leads into telling me that"well I work here so i think I know better than you." I walked out and will never be back. Good Pie is right down the street and the service and pizza are way better.
He was the typical downtown transplant wannabe arts district clown. Thank god only tourist and the attention starved eat at places like this. Ruining the experience of what Vegas use to be. From a born and raised native...
