Philly Freeze Me — Restaurant in Las Vegas

In Vegas on a vacation with my kids and wanted something sweet after lunch. Found this gem, and so glad I did. First of all the service is amazing, super friendly, I’m not sure if she was the owner but it kind of felt like it with the way she acted- like she was very proud of this place and rightfully so. Never had Philly Ice but because I’m going for a week next month I wanted to try it. Soooooo delicious. I got watermelon and lemon, my son got cherry and watermelon and my daughter got strawberry lemonade and lemon. All 3 of us were eating it and commenting on how good it was. My son asked if we can go back before we head home. Very inexpensive, especially for Vegas. Flavors were fresh and so refreshing on this super crazy hot day. Oh let's talk about it...The customer service that I experienced was terrible. The owner hit a customer in his face for asking how long does it take to get your order and what was the numbered cones for. I got accused of not paying for my drink and when they found out I did in fact pay I never got an apology. The drinks are good but the customer service is terrible. They are very unprofessional and need to come up with a better system as far as getting drinks out to customers I waited for over an hour to get my drinks and the cups were not properly filled. Overall my experience was terrible and I love supporting black owned businesses. If they improve their customer service skills and work on getting the drinks out in a timely fashion their business would do so much better. We stopped by Philly Freeze Me when it was absolutely packed, and I was blown away watching Ava manage the entire store all by herself. She was handling everything! giving out samples, answering everyone’s questions with patience, taking orders, ringing people up, and still somehow serving every customer with a smile and great energy.

Despite the rush, she made sure each person felt taken care of and didn’t miss a beat. You could tell she genuinely cared about the experience we were having. That kind of hustle and attitude is rare, and Ava deserves all the recognition for holding it down like a total pro.

We got the mango and strawberry flavors and it was soooooo good, and really nice sized serving definitely worth it, not overpriced at all, all around great experience.
