I came here on Sunday "record breaking 120 degree weather" with my dad while he was in town. I found the restaurant by typing best restaurants in the Art District and the reviews and photos of the menu items brought me here. First impression walking up, my dad said "wow this place looks really nice, it must be expensive". We open the door and immediately hear a live band playing 🤩 that got me so excited because I already knew me and my pops were going to enjoy ourselves. We were greeted by a very sweet host who took to our table. The band was wonderful and played a variety of popular music new and old, varying from hip-hop, r&b, rock and pop, with they're own flair. The local art, high ceilings and large windows made the whole place a vibe. There was a lovely bar set up with views of the back patio which I can't stinkin wait to use. Our waitress was amazing, funny and just loved life working there and even said that. We ordered off the happy hour menu, I got the mushroom tacos that were incredible and my dad got chicken strips with fries which I tried and they were so good with a truffle taste only 10 for the tacos and 12 for the chicken! We were so surprised. We both ordered a drink, he had a mojito and I got a spicy margarita 🤤 they were top notch. My dad ended up taking with the owner and he opened up the rooftop so we can have a look! He's an amazing guy who takes slot of pride in his business, keeps his employees happy, and listens to his customers. I've finally found a spot here in Vegas where I'm excited to become a regular. I can't wait to come again! I plan to bring the rest of the family when they come to visit, my dad has already started making plans for next month to come back and bring my sis and her kids. Longest review I've ever written but I'm sure there will be many more memories to be had...
Read moreAs a vegas local, I recently had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at Taverna Costera for the 3rd time and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that sets this place apart. The decor is unique and fun, perfectly complementing the lively vibe of the restaurant.
A special shout-out goes to our amazing waitresses, Dani and Amanda and Jessica whom we have had before. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our visit memorable. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their genuine care for the customers was evident in every interaction. It's rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, and Dani and Amanda delivered just that. They made us feel important even with a full crowd.
The live music added a wonderful touch to the overall experience, creating an enjoyable ambiance that enhanced our brunch. It's clear that Taverna Costera puts a lot of thought into creating a complete dining experience, not just serving food.
Speaking of food, the meals at Taverna Costera is nothing short of top-notch. Every dish was bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. Whether you're in the mood for classic brunch fare or something with a bit of an Asian twist, you'll find it here, and it will be delicious.
Taverna Costera offers a brunch experience that is both welcoming and fun, with a unique atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The live music, excellent food, and outstanding service—especially from Dani and Amanda—make this a must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal. Highly recommend for locals and people...
Read moreThis is an odd review but, long story short, I was at a wedding and my friend who came ( but didn’t go to the wedding ) with me got wasted while I was gone to the event. She walked way away from where I left her to explore the strip. Not to get into details but she was in real danger in the situation she got herself in. She because too drunk to tell me where she was when I checked on her after the wedding. The staff ( a really nice young lady with long dark hair) saw her and quickly figured out how drunk she was and who was near her, pulled her into their closed cafe ( I think that was what it was). Outside the restaurant was a group of questionable guys. The very nice lady called me. I was in a Lyft looking for her with an amazing driver- Luis. Anyway, Luis and I came and got her. He told me when I walked into the restaurant to get my friend, the questionable group of guys seemed none too happy that the drunk girl was being picked up. FYI, I did talk to one of them on the phone before this that gave me the wrong information to where she was. The very nice long haired woman and the staff went above and beyond to watch out for one lonely drunk girl. I am very grateful they did not ignore her and what could of happened to her. Thank you to...
