Their actual food looked pretty good. After having their coffee and experiencing the service, I decided not to try the food. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly staff member, and there was no line! I ordered 3 lattes. There was about 2 inches of space at the top of each of the three different flavored lattes, which is totally fine, but I couldn't taste any actual coffee in any of the "coffees," so I took them back to politely ask if it was a possibility that the coffee was mistakenly forgotten for the drinks, and maybe not added. A young woman told me that they would never forget to add the coffee. She seemed a bit offended. I didn't mind, and asked for an extra shot in each drink, but she suggested that she would make new coffees, which I was fine with. I work in customer service, and I'm not the "complaining" type, but I was both taken back by her next comment: "I can make new coffees for you, but if you don't like them, that's on you." If the owner of the restaurant is reading this post, please consider taking this review as an opportunity to check the mixture of your coffee, at least from the day prior to this post. My family members are constantly drinking coffee, and lattes out, as we are from Seattle, and have always been latte people, and my daughters are both Barista's, so we're always tasting every single flavor of latte at multiple cafes. I'm not trying to brag, I'm merely saying that we've never had a more flavorless coffee from any baristas. We wondered if maybe there was something wrong with your coffee machine, as we could taste no coffee at all. The flavors, for the rest of the drink were fine. Anyway, when I saw another coffee shop a block away with a line of 25 people in it who looked like locals, I realized that the coffee at your shop could be traditionally made extremely weak. We were just visiting for the day so we wouldn't know. I liked the atmosphere of this cafe btw....

Tucked just off the main strip in Leavenworth, Lost Pig is an absolute gem for breakfast. While the heart of town is full of tourist-heavy restaurants with crowded parking and long waits, this spot feels refreshingly different—laid-back, approachable, and focused on what really matters: the food.
I ordered the Three Little Pigs with pulled pork, and it was outstanding. The tortillas were fresh and warm, with just the right amount of chew. Every ingredient tasted clean and carefully prepared—nothing felt mass-produced. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, perfectly balanced with sautéed onions, peppers, and a touch of egg for richness. Topped with fresh cilantro and a slice of crisp radish, each bite was hearty yet bright.
And let’s not forget their house-made chipotle pineapple hot sauce—a revelation in itself. Smoky with a hint of sweet tang, it’s the kind of sauce you’ll want to drizzle on everything and then maybe take a bottle home.
Lost Pig may not have the flashy Bavarian storefronts of downtown, but that’s part of its charm—it’s a place you actually want to sit outside, enjoy the mountain views, and savor real food. If you’re in Leavenworth and want to skip the tourist traps, this is the breakfast spot worth...
Read morePlease try this off the beaten path place in Leavenworth. Its not in the main strip, but has a walk up window for ordering and a small but original menu that can please most types of foodies. It is kind of a BBQ-tex-mex-southern fusion. I know that sounds like a lot, but stay with me. They offer breakfast (which admittedly I did not have, but the selections on their menu sound tasty and interesting), lunch and dinner. They have fresh and healthier options in the form of their tacos and sides. I had the Marty tacos which are vegetarian and they were delicious. I also had the beet salad because the online menu said they were out of Brussel sprouts. It was heaven. Tangy and slightly sweet with a candied pear in there. Vegetarian friendly for sure. Now if you want something a little more hearty, filling, greasy...the sandwiches pack that punch. The McCormick had chicken slices with collard greens and a cheesy spicy cream sauce smothered over it on perfectly toasted bread. It was very rich and polar opposite of healthy I'm sure, but oh so tasty. Everything has a little bit of heat to it, just enough to make itself known and compliment the dish.
Recipes are original and everything seems very fresh. I would recommend trying this...
