Peter James Photography Gallery Leavenworth — Attraction in Leavenworth

We actually stumbled into Peter Jame’s gallery in Leavenworth upon returning to town after a beautiful walk along the river. We were welcomed in to his studio by Peter himself. From the moment my eyes saw the first picture, I became mesmerized and needed to see more of the beauty that only Peter can capture. We have visited some of the very sites photographed. Each picture engulfs you as if you are present amongst nature. I cannot begin to capture what he has been able to do. My husband and I had envisioned placing 1 or some of the pictures we had taken during our travel adventures. The moment we saw what Peter had to offer, our ideas simultaneously turned to choosing what Peter had taken. Peter has been delightful, so helpful, reassuring, and easy to work with. The packaging and delivery blew my mind. This experience alone speaks volumes about the quality of Peter’s work. Our pictures are up and have transformed our pretty home to spectacular. This art is by far our favorite thing we have purchased for our home. Everyone who enters our home is taken back by the beautiful art! My wife and I discovered Peter’s gallery while exploring town and fell in love with his work. While talking with him about how he is able to get out to some of the locations he has photographed, Peter brought us to part of his back show room. My wife spotted a photo of a mother fox and her three young pups and fell in love. She immediately connected it with our three boys so we surprised her with it for Mother’s Day. She is over the moon with it and stops to look at the picture every morning before leaving for work. The way Peter does his prints brings out an incredible amount of detail, color and vibrancy that lends itself so well the subjects of his shots. The medium is truly complimented by his process and as a result the products are absolutely breathtaking. I also wanted to mention that after my purchase, Peter sent a couple follow up emails to make sure we were happy as well as to send a very helpful video on the ways we could hang the print. I really appreciated that because not only does it show he cares about your experience with his work, but it was genuinely helpful when trying to figure out the best way to get the print set where and how you want it, as there is a little more involved than just popping a brad...

The gallery presents Mr. James work on very large metal prints, including several on huge multiple panels. All are beautiful natural land and seascapes. The images are amazingly shape with rich colors. Mr. James works hard to get to the most scenic locations at the times with the most dramatic lighting. He also is adept at in camera techniques and computer aided processing that further enhance the images. The gallery is staffed by a knowledgeable young woman who explains the various products available. All the high quality means the work is costly. The lowest-priced small pieces were $50. When considering these photos keep in mind where you will place them as the high gloss metal prints are very reflective. The prints are also available in a non-reflective satin finish.
