I can get very overwhelmed in bookstores, but this one was perfect! They are small but they have all the classics and new releases you could want for your vacation reads. Something I noticed and appreciated was that if the new releases were part of a series then they have one of every book previous too! They have a lot of the good local travel and nature books. Many of the sections are small like the craft section probably had 20 books total but of those 20 I was interest in like 15 of them! My wife also was able to find two new releases in their used section for a great deal in great condition. Stumbled on this place after grabbing ice cream next door and honestly, it made my day. I wasn’t expecting to find such a cozy, well-curated bookstore tucked into a Bavarian-style village—but here we are.

The vibe is perfect. Quiet, warm, and full of character. Feels very European—wood shelves, handwritten staff picks, little nooks where you just want to sit and flip pages.

I walked out with three books I didn’t plan on buying. That says something.
