This was our first time to Leavenworth and I wanted it to be during the Christmas lights. Not knowing the area I chose this hotel because it was in the heart of it all and if the weather was bad I didn't want to risk having to drive back and forth. It was so nice not having to drive for two full days. We stayed three nights here Thursday to Sunday and Saturday was the noisiest in the hotel as between midnight and 12:30 it sounded like someone was stomping around in the building non-stop. It was annoying but it didn't bother me too much. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I would recommend and stay again. The staff were super nice and welcoming upon check in. The shampoos/soaps etc are plentiful and it includes makeup remover wipes. Coffee and tea packets are provided in the room with a coffee maker, wine glasses and a wine opener, mugs and glasses and a microwave and mini fridge. Our microwave kept tripping the breaker when the tv was on but it was an easy fix. We loved our window with an overlook view of the town and lights as well. Lots of shopping, food and lights right out the hotel door! Also dog friendly so we brought our husky. It was a little spendy to stay here, but worth it to me to be in the heart of it all and not worry about anything. They have their own permit parking lot too right across the street and it is the pedestrian street not car street and...
Read moreOverall my stay was very nice: the staff was nice and friendly, the room was clean, and the location was great. I booked a jacuzzi king room. The bed was subpar and the pillows were practically flat, but the room itself was decorated nicely and the bathroom was small but comfortable.
I was extremely disappointed to see on my arrival that I could not use any products in the jacuzzi tub. The 2 person jacuzzi tub in the room is the reason I booked this particular room at this hotel. There was a sign next to the tub that stated that nothing but water was to be used in the tub. Bath bombs, soaps, or other bath products were prohibited and would result in a $100 fine. There was no information regarding this on their website at the time of booking and nothing stated in any emails I received. Had the hotel been upfront about the tub usage or even simply charged me the $100 up front, I would have been happier. I was disappointed that I couldn’t use the tub like I wanted and more disappointed that it was not communicated properly.
Other than that, the hotel was decorated nicely, very clean, located in a great area, and had a separate locked entrance for guests to use. Keep in mind, staff are only available from 10-7 so if you need anything outside of those hours you’re...
Read moreThis hotel was very lovely and charming, the location could not be beat! Check-in was a breeze and the person who greeted us was very friendly, and provided excellent service. The room (#1) was spacious, overlooked Front Street, and had a nice fireplace, small refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom was on the smaller side but it met our needs. All of the little touches, like the water dispenser in the hall upstairs, with coffee and tea, was very much appreciated. They even had a cabinet with fresh towels and other items should you need them. I left off one star because the beds and pillows in our room were in need of replacement. The bed was rock hard, like beyond firm, as were the pillows. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch in our room because it was more comfortable. My husband and I both woke up in pain each day, and I am still dealing with a sore neck from the first night. Otherwise, this was an amazing hotel, and we'll definitely be back (if the beds...
