My wife, son and I had an amazing time in Leavenworth about a week ago and had the blessing of spending over an hour at this wonderful place. Carrie and Tara are two amazing ladies. We were immediately greeted warmly and took a comfortable seat. Being familiar with the Biblical story of water to wine I asked, "So. Water from Wine. Tell me the story." For near an hour we exchanged laughs, astonishment at the events, learned about the background, and just shared an extremely pleasant time.
The wine was very, very good. We really enjoyed the vertical Cab Sauv flight with the 2016, 17, and 18 years in succession. Loved the mulled wine.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Water from Wine in Leavenworth, and it was hands down one of the highlights of my trip. Nestled in the charming Bavarian-themed town, this tasting room offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately draws you in.

Beyond the wine itself, the staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the entire experience feel personal and special.
If you’re visiting Leavenworth, do yourself a favor and stop by Water from Wine. Treat yourself to the mulled wine—you won’t regret it. It’s a little bit of magic in this already...

She then said they were closing in 6 minutes—even though there were still plenty of customers outside with full glasses. I’ve never been treated in such a dismissive way, and it felt like I was being looked down on.
If the policy is “buy a glass before using the restroom,” it should be stated clearly. It was very uncomfortable and unwelcoming, especially considering we had already supported the business. This kind of attitude is not how you make people want...
