My wife, son and I had an amazing time in Leavenworth about a week ago and had the blessing of spending over an hour at this wonderful place. Carrie and Tara are two amazing ladies. We were immediately greeted warmly and took a comfortable seat. Being familiar with the Biblical story of water to wine I asked, "So. Water from Wine. Tell me the story." For near an hour we exchanged laughs, astonishment at the events, learned about the background, and just shared an extremely pleasant time.

The wine was very, very good. We really enjoyed the vertical Cab Sauv flight with the 2016, 17, and 18 years in succession. Loved the mulled wine.

From all three of us, thank you for the warm welcome, wonderful story, and amazing wine. Five stars all around and highly recommended. Give these amazing folks an hour of your life and you will be filled in more ways than...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Water from Wine in Leavenworth, and it was hands down one of the highlights of my trip. Nestled in the charming Bavarian-themed town, this tasting room offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately draws you in.

The standout for me was their mulled wine—absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly spiced and expertly balanced, it was like sipping pure comfort in a glass, especially on a crisp snowy day. The aroma alone was enough to make me relax and slow down to savor every sip.

Beyond the wine itself, the staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the entire experience feel personal and special.

If you’re visiting Leavenworth, do yourself a favor and stop by Water from Wine. Treat yourself to the mulled wine—you won’t regret it. It’s a little bit of magic in this already...

We came as a group of 5 and ordered 3 glasses of wine slushy, sitting outside on the patio. When I came in to ask for the restroom, the lady told me it was for “customers only.” I explained that we were already sitting outside with drinks, but since I personally didn’t buy a glass, she insisted I would need to purchase one too.

She then said they were closing in 6 minutes—even though there were still plenty of customers outside with full glasses. I’ve never been treated in such a dismissive way, and it felt like I was being looked down on.

If the policy is “buy a glass before using the restroom,” it should be stated clearly. It was very uncomfortable and unwelcoming, especially considering we had already supported the business. This kind of attitude is not how you make people want...

Our local wine guy recommended this place out if all the wineries here. We were not disappointed! The owner is friendly, attentive to parents and kids alike & making wine for a great cause. These are easy drinking wines - there's something for everyone here. She had 12 wines on hand and the tasting included 6 of them. I usually walk away empty handed or with 1 bottle from tasting rooms, but this time I found 3 to take home and my beer drinking husband grabbed a pinot noir of his own! You'll find this place tucked away inside the lower level of the Wine Cellar; without the recommendation, we wouldn't have known it was here. Worth it!
