My recent visit with my girlfriend to dot dotla left much to be desired, primarily due to an unwelcoming start and undue pressure to meet a spending minimum. We had reserved a spot on the guest list in advance, expecting a smooth and enjoyable evening. However, as soon as we arrived, the experience took a negative turn. Right at the door, the doorman demanded my card and informed us of a $60 minimum spending requirement for men. This was not communicated to us when we made the reservation, which felt deceptive and set a sour tone for the night. The immediate pressure to spend a specific amount made the experience feel transactional rather than hospitable, which is far from what we expected from a venue that required prior reservations. This approach not only created an uncomfortable atmosphere but also detracted from what could have been a pleasant outing. So anyway I bought 2 drink sidecar for 57.$ LEFT 30 minutes after I left NO TIps Barman charge my card 87$ I made a mistake by leaving my bill at the bar now they scamming? I will be in contact with your establishment to demand answer tried to call no answer The lack of transparency about the spending minimum and the barmaid overcharge left me feeling scam from the moment we stepped in. Unfortunately, this overshadowed any potential enjoyment we might have had. I would urge the management to be upfront about any spending requirements when guests make reservations and to train staff to handle such policies with more tact and professionalism. I want to also address them overcharging me Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this venue to others looking for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Make sure to check y’all bill before leaving UNACCEPTABLE!
