I recently visited Mr. Mustache at 505 Flower Street in Los Angeles, and it’s truly a hidden gem! Located in the basement, this spot is easy to miss but worth discovering.

I ordered the Herb Chicken Sandwich, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with fresh herbs that added incredible depth of flavor. The ciabatta bread was fresh and had just the right amount of crunch, satisfying every bite.

Despite the busy lunch crowd, the service was quick and efficient. The staff kept things moving, ensuring that orders were prepared promptly. With a simple yet well-curated menu, this place is perfect for a fast, delicious meal.

We arrived right at the lunch hour on a Thursday. There was a long line, but it went very fast. Ordered Herb Chicken sammy and tomato bisque, which was enough for two to share (we always share). Both were phenomenal, especially for the very reasonable price. This reminded me of what you get in Europe. The bread was so fresh and absolutely outstanding. We pay twice these prices for not as good food in San Diego....

Both chicken sandwiches are incredible. Long lines during peak lunch hours but they move faster than you'd think because they are prepared for the business. I admittedly waited 30 minutes once, but I was probably the 60th person in line. But I had walked 20 minutes just to get Mr. Mustache, so I wasn't about to go back empty-handed.
