Secret — Restaurant in Los Angeles

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! It is my favorite bar! If I am the mood to either just hang out and relax or to party and meet wonderful people, this place is the place to be!

Staff: I have to mention her first, Michaela. She is the most beautiful woman you could meet. She makes amazing mixed drinks and is very attentive and just amazing person and bartender. You could not ask for anyone better. Tatiana, Asha, and Steph are also some of the most gorgeous women and most fun people! They are helpful, energetic, and wonderful people to have around. Marcus, Serge, Peto, Robert, and everyone else are just incredible. They can joke around with you and ensure a good time for everyone. They look out for the customers and just want to make sure everyone is having fun.

Environment: Love the decor and lighting. It isn't bright like a restaurant and not as dim as a dive bar, but it has a lot of space to dance and move around, and enough chairs and tables to have a group. The paintings are interesting and the pub overall has a perfectly mixed environment for younger and older crowds.

Food and Drinks Great food! You can order anything on their menu and ensure you'll enjoy whatever it is you ordered. Also, they serve a pretty sufficient amount, so don't expect a tiny plate! Don't get me wrong, it's not a huge serving either but it's a pretty good amount. Drinks are wonderful. I go to bars around here often, but at Secret, they know how to make their drinks. No more worries for trying a new drink or ordering a classic! Whatever it is, they'll get it right!

Prices: Most reasonable prices in Hollywood. Stop overpaying for drinks and food and wasting your time at other locations. This place gives you a great time for a great price. Wonderful for college students!

Hookah: I have not done it myself. Though I hear very often that it is awesome, you can drink and do hookah, and it is not overpriced. So, I believe it must be good. If I do try it, it will be here and I will write another review with an honest opinion.

Music: Great selection of music! It ranges from pop, rock, and a few other types. Great to cater to everyone and to make sure people stay dancing, singing along, and enjoying it all!

Television: They put on sports events mostly and sometimes news and it really depends, but they cater to the people so if you're looking for something specific, ask and they can put it for you, possibly!

Management: Wonderful owners. Fun, sweet, and are around to deal with things, if necessary. Good people for a business means things can be set and be organized. Always wonderful to see for a small business.

Location: At the back of Tekila and some other bar, which have quite a few people as well. Almost right in between Highland and Vine. I feel like it is isolated and such when it should be out and visible for everyone to come by enjoy BUT it's location allows there to be a slower surge of people so that you can fully enjoy the bar still. I guess that's why they call it the "Secret" ;D (excuse the pun).

Personal Experiences: I have come here after work several times. I have come here to have a couple meals. I have come here to day drink. I have come here to pre-party. I have come here to party. I have come here for an after-party.

Negatives: Only open til 2. No taco tuesday.

Overall: A truly wonderful place. So much so, that, after having written about it I think I will head on over. :) I wish I worked here though, the people here are so awesome, I could only hope they rub off on me...

We just landed in LA and my sister's and I were aimlessly looking for the Hard Rock Cafe, took a few wrong turns when suddenly, this tall guy dressed in all black, pulled my arm and asked us to come inside. He gave us a menu to review so we decided to check it out.

Babeeee! The food did not disappoint! My sister ordered garlic parmesean chicken wings that were so good, we went back the next day before we went to a surprise birthday party, you know, just in case the food wasn't good we would have our own stash lol! I ordered a BLT on sourdough with avocado. Another banger! I've been trying to find that taste ever since I got back to MD to no avail. I think they make their own bread and the food gods sprinkled an extra blessing in the dough! 😋😋😋😋😋

Let's not forget the drinks and hookahs! The margaritas were stepped on (double shots), or maybe not! I'm not a drinker so anything feels like it's been stepped on lol! It was also my first time smoking hookahs. The drinks along with the hookahs definitely relaxed me as I was still a little edgy from my 6 hour flight.

Finally, the hospitality. Everyone from the front door, to the wait staff and even the security was so nice and friendly. Our party started with 3 ppl and as more of our family arrived, the number grew. They were able to switch our tables without complaint and still provided the same level of service for 7 ppl as the did for 3! 😁

Don't sleep on the little "hole in the wall" restaurants! They always serve the best food and display the best hospitality. We will definitely be back when we return in June!

First and foremost the drinks are fair prices, the music is pooping, mostly hip hop which I love either way. But this is what sucks never pay with cash. My friend and I came in at midnite for there $5 daiquiris, I gave this dude a 20 bill he never gave me back my change or receipt. The music was loud I really thought the drinks were $10 each but when we left my friend had said they were $5 not $10 and that it said on the board. I called Nana, she said to come back and she will take care of me not with giving me the money but with drinks or something so I guess is okay I will wait till she follows through with what she promise. First of all I hate barteners that take advantage of people. If I see this bartener I will make sure I confront him it was not the chick, it was not the guy with tats and hat on, it was the younger dude with shabby dark hair I didn't see any visible tats. Anyways, this guy sucks and stole from me and that's all I care about the fact that he has zero morals and he stole from 2 hot chicks what a douchebag. So for now they get a sucky review until nana follows through. Otherwise, watch for your pockets guys...
