The Pine and The Palm: Hollywood's Hidden Gem
Nestled in the heart of Hollywood Boulevard, The Pine and The Palm emerges as a beacon of excitement and elegance in Los Angeles' vibrant nightlife scene. As a seasoned patron of various bars in the area, I can confidently say that this establishment stands out as the best new addition in quite some time.
Upon entering, you're greeted by an inviting atmosphere that effortlessly blends rustic charm with modern sophistication. The décor, featuring a clever fusion of pine and palm motifs, creates a uniquely cozy yet upscale ambiance perfect for unwinding after a long day.
One of the most impressive aspects of The Pine and The Palm is its diverse clientele. Whether you're a local artist, a tourist exploring Hollywood, or a business professional seeking a place to network, you'll find yourself in good company here. The bar's ability to attract such a varied mix of people speaks volumes about its appeal and inclusive vibe.
Now, onto the food—surprisingly delightful! While many bars focus solely on drinks, The Pine and The Palm elevates the experience with a menu that goes beyond typical bar fare. From small plates perfect for sharing to hearty mains that satisfy even the most discerning palate, each dish is crafted with care and quality ingredients.
Of course, no review of a bar would be complete without mentioning the drinks. The cocktail menu is a testament to creativity and craftsmanship, offering both classic concoctions and innovative blends that are as Instagram-worthy as they are delicious. Whether you prefer a signature cocktail or a perfectly poured craft beer, the bartenders here are masters of their craft.
Service is another highlight at The Pine and The Palm. The staff exudes warmth and professionalism, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and well taken care of throughout their visit.
In summary, if you're looking for a bar that effortlessly combines great ambiance, fantastic food, and stellar drinks, look no further than The Pine and The Palm. It's not just another bar on Hollywood Boulevard—it's the best bar on...
Read more'The Palm and The Pine' is from a point in our glorious state where an actual pine tree is next to a palm tree and considered the natural break between SoCal and NoCal - how awesome is that! Smart! and while im not a sports person this adapts to these mega TVs to tone down the ambiance and I think thats so very classy of them!
The best Trifecta of Tenders ever - I dig them so much - and shall always get them - they are not the least bit oily and you can actually get them tossed in whatever sauces the wings also bathe in - my husband loves wings and literally goes down the menu in order to try each version of them of which right now the Korean ones are winning - As for me, I'm. Tender and Champagne kinda person and when paired with the phenomenal Riviera Salad they are quite good. I am also a ranch person love that their ranch has actually gotten thicker to live beautifully on ones chicken tender!
We finally got to meet Colin who actually worked hard to make this concept a reality - He built the bar from tables that were from the previous spot KOTA and even the front door was made from a table I probably sat at. They are doing great things here and I look forward to their newer brunch items - there is something called a 'Pancake fry' where you ill be ordering these but dip them in the maple syrup and a bunch of new brunch items! We of course will be there for that!
We appreciate you in our neighborhood and giving us the best times in your well curated new place - its better than the ramen spot and the cowboy ugly spot that was here before - we will always go and sometimes twice weekly as we love your food - your bartender Alexis is great two - this fun girl with a perfect southern drawl - she doesn't put up with crazy and can handle a sudden crowded restaurant with ease! We love Alexis!
Thank you Colin and all who made this place for us as you said the elevator pitch was “The Pine & Palm is your girlfriend’s favorite bar and the country club you never belonged to.”
Why thank you, my lord!

Read moreSo happy that my friend and I chose to stop into this spot for a place to munch. The vibes/music were immaculate, a ton of detail was put into the decor and atmosphere of the space, and the food and mocktails were super tasty. We really enjoyed the gentleman who was working the door- he really provided us with details of the space so that we could have a good time! We sat at the bar and got to chat and connect with the bartenders as well and we were well taken care of! We were able to spend close to three hours just enjoying ourselves and the ambience and no one made us feel rushed as we were visiting from out of town. I wish this space a ton of success in the future ᵕ̈ also loved the tees and hats that the staff were wearing- SUPER cute. *Only con-the name of the space really isn’t visible onsite or in the space so it took me FOREVER to find the name of it so I could leave...
