This place was just a 5 min walk from our stay at the W Hotel. The atmosphere is welcoming, order at the counter upon arrival and enjoy a nice wait outside for your order, and eat at their bistro chair sets outside. The staff was super accommodating and sure that we knew our options, made excellent recommendations, and gave us a yummy sample of the frosted coffee concoction (sorry, I'm not sure what it was exactly... but it was heavenly....like Espresso married a frosty). We had bagels ( and I'm picky because I make my own bagels at home). Theirs? -FAB! The burrito? Soooo good. The sauces....something for everyone. I liked the cilantro crema best. My favorite...the French cinnamon roll! 🤌💋 Wow. Very Croi-nut....donut/croissant crossover. Light and fluffy, flaky, sweet. Thank you. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Eric double-checked on us after our meal to ensure we loved it. The packaging of everything...adorable. I wish I had taken pics before devouring everything 🤣 The boxes, the bags, washi tape...I loved it all. Oh, and I was told Sunday's they have a Farmers Market 😲 so jelly. If I lived here, this would be my jam. Heading back to Texas...ya'll enjoy this place....
Read moreMinus 1 star for awful online ordering system which changed the pickup location. I expected to not get charged for the restaurant website mistake after I demonstrated it was working incorrectly so I paid double for a bacon breakfast burrito.
The burrito was excellent except it did not have enough egg for a breakfast burrito. It maybe had one egg. It should definitely have 2 eggs. Not the best bfast burrito in LA , but really good, but also very small and not enough egg.
Kind of disappointing first time experience since I paid double for already too expensive burrito due to a still malfunctioning website. Not sure if I’ll return. Doesn’t live up to the hype. So close, but Minus 1 star for barely any egg. It’s basically a tater tot burrito that’s wrapped really well. The cilantro sauce is great but almost no egg in a breakfast burrito. Much better local non chain options with 2-3 eggs for breakfast and larger portions for less $.
The ladies were very friendly...
Read moreWake and Late is hands down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting! Their bagels and breakfast burritos are absolutely unmatched. Every bite was bursting with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The variety of cream cheese spreads is incredible, and each one adds a unique, delicious twist to their already perfect bagels. The breakfast burritos? Pure magic. The sauces are flavorful and perfectly complement the fresh ingredients, making each bite unforgettable. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. The gentleman who helped us was not only knowledgeable but also had such a warm and welcoming personality. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel as valued as he did. Wake and Late has officially become a must-visit for me every time I’m in town. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, incredible service, and a vibe that makes your day better, this is it!...
