Edited to say we've been twice since my original first review and unfortunately we've gotten old, dried out, chewy, hard chicken both times. One chicken dish tasted fishy so we threw it out instead of taking the risk. It was so good the first time and yet we've been so disappointed the last 2 times. The rangoon is still delicious but this place is 3 hours away from us, so I doubt we'll be back again. It's not worth the effort.
Oh my gosh, this place is delicious!!! The CRAB RANGOON!!!! TRY IT! It's the best I've had in a looooong time if not ever. I would eat buckets of their crab rangoon every day if I could 🤣 We also got the chicken lo mein which was also delicious. We did get the General Tso and the Sesamee chicken and they were exactly the same in taste and appearance except the Sesamee had sesamee seeds on top lol. But they were really good, so, it's all good. Everything here was super hot and delicious. We ordered take out and waited for it. Some of our meals came in reusable microwave containers, so, that was nice too. There was so much food. We had leftovers and are from out of town. You better believe we packed that food in our ice chest to take home. We all feasted on it again the next day. Too bad it's so far away from us. I would have already gone back a few times for the rangoon if it was closer. Please open a location in Evansville, Indiana!! They don't have a good...
Read moreI've lived in Louisville my whole life and I've been to my fair share of Chinese restaurants. Three years ago we decided to try this place out after moving to the area and it is by far the best, most consistent Chinese food I've ever had. I refuse to order from any other Chinese place now.
If you like sweet crab Rangoon, it is the best I've ever had. The sesame chicken is my go to, but I've tried a few different things (general tso, honey, orange) and they are all amazing. The food is prepared quickly and always tastes fresh. They never mess up the order either, which is unfortunately a common thing with other restaurants in the area.
We usually do take out, but decided to dine in a couple days ago and it was also a great experience. The waiter/front desk lady is always very nice and you can tell they genuinely care about the customer having a good experience.
This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review for a food place on here. It's that good, and I appreciate the people...
Read moreI was in town and craving Chinese. Since this shared the name of my fav Chinese restaurant , figured why not. First impressions is that it caters more to a seafood lover and the more typical Chinese dishes are an afterthought. I order in person and I kid you not my order was done in about 5 minutes. Which tells me one thing, Everything is pre-made and it's simply heated up. I got hot/sour soup , Rangoons, and crispy beef. Beef wasn't crispy and was pretty flavor less. My veg was still pretty undercooked. Rangoon looked pre-made but didn't taste bad. Hot sour soup was terrible. Had a burnt after taste. I ate about half and ironically after a few hours in the fridge the food tasted better. I had to douse the beef in soy and duck sauce for flavor. I'm sure anything fried tastes amazing but this...
