Took my special needs daughter to Louisville to a class and thankfully mostly just needed a place to shower and sleep because that’s definitely the only thing you’ll get, if that. There are people standing around the parking lot drinking and what ever else they are doing all night that’s a little sketchy right off the bat. Now that I’ve seen the other reviews, I guess the pool is actually never open so that was a disappointment. We were charged a different rate than stated on the Priceline email as what would be total and was told that Priceline just doesn’t have the correct fees and tax amount, to call them about it. Plus they charged a $40 deposit fee for incidentals that will supposedly be refunded since none were used. But what exactly could they even be? There’s no extra channels that I wouldn’t have bought anyway, not a phone you could have made some old fashioned long distance call on; there’s not even a dresser or table to place your things on, you walk in and put all your luggage, purse, personal items, right on the nasty floor. No where to hang a garment either. Free included breakfast? Well that consisted of a pan with a few hard round biscuit things that I banged with the tongs and decided were so hard I couldn’t tear one open. Another pan that had just enough couple potato squares left in it that you knew that’s what was SUPPOSED to be in there, and one full pan of gravy. Then there was a tray with a few donuts, bread to toast and bagels to toast, but no butter or cream cheese to put on them. No type of protein or meat at all. No kind of fruit at all. No kind of yogurt at all. There was a waffle maker and syrup if you were interested in spiking your morning blood sugar. We decided to just go back to the room to pack up and stop for breakfast somewhere. Well then the room keys didn’t work to get back in the room. Seems like that’s the norm from the other reviews too. I will watch for the $40 deposit for nonexistent incidentals to be refunded and if there were a way to be reimbursed for the whole stay I would request that as well. I’ve actually never been charged for incidentals before they occurred when a card was on file to pay the room anyway. Very strange. Needless to say I made a big mistake forgetting to check the reviews BEFORE booking but I won’t be staying here again. I find it very hard to believe any of the good reviews could have possibly...
Read moreThIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE. I recently stayed there for the fact the rate was reasonable for a room with a Jacuzzi tub. Upon arriving door would not open. Went to the front desk she advised me try anyways even if it is red....HELLO if someone can open my door with it even being red then that is not very safe. Tried again, once again had to go back to the front office to advise it still would not open. She came down with screwdriver to pop the metal part off to manually open the door, the latch on the inside was closed, this room in particular had two doors one for the jacuzzi side and one for the bedroom side. So then after we get in the room, checked the bed as I always do for bugs. Did not see any thank god. Then there was a used washcloth hanging over on the shower, towels were damp, the towel used for the floor was already dirty. Luckily i always bring clorox wipes with me to wipe stuff down myself. The ac on the jacuzzi room side was not working walked back up to the front desk and advised the rude check in clerk of this issue, her response was well you can check out and go somewhere else. Ugh no i didn't have the money to do that, she did offer another room but not what i reserved, explained I chose that room for a reason. So since was already out of the money decided to just deal with it for the night. Went to take a shower and the water was not draining almost up to my calf. There was no phone in the room so each and every time you would have to walk to the office. There was no cups in the room so even after brushing your teeth had no way of rinsing your mouth out. So myself and fiance dealt with it. Next morning go to check out and explained all the issues in the room and the morning clerk was just as IDGAF attitude as the lady i checked in with: hERE IS WHAT WAS WRONG. DO NOT STAY HERE NASTY NASTY NASTY. CAN NOT SAY THAT ENOUGH. HERE ARE THE MAIN THINGS WRONG WITH THE ROOM:||TUB NOT DRAINING STANDING IN YOUR OWN BODY OILS...DISGUSTING|AC NOT WORKING|FLOOR DIRTY|NO PHONE IN ROOM AS STATED|TUBS (BOTH DIRTY)|DIRTY TOWELS|SMELLED OF WEED|TRASH OVERFLOWING OUTSIDE|TOILET WOBBLY, RAN ALL NIGHT IF YOU FLUSHED IT.||This place needs to be bulldozzed and if I was wyndam i would take my name off of it and make it a private sectar. Horrible NOT ONE NICE THING TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE OR THE STAFF. STAFF DOES NOT CARE AND THERE SOLUTION IS YOU CAN JUST GO...
Read moreWorst hotel stay in the world! I am extremely frustrated about my stay at the hotel. The trim was falling off the wall. There was no phone in the room to call guest services. The soap that was provided in the room was from a different hotel, it was labeled as knights, (A Completly different hotel). There were only 2 towels in the room when we were a party of 4. Asked for more towels and was advised we had to return the other 2 before we could get more. Do you know how inconvenient it is to have to wait for one shower to complete and have to immediately dress and go to guest services to get a new towel. When we were in the pool there were several drunk individuals that looked like transients that told us they live in the hotel. My 6 yr old neice was trying to swim and they were in the pool approaching her and talking about how pretty she was. When we were at breakfast the receptionist and another lady who appeared to not work there kept leaving to go outside to smoke. The toaster didn't work. The breakfast was the bare minimum, the picture for the hotel breakfast shows a pictire of fruit and muffins and there was none at all. There were several times there wasn't a receptionist. There were no pool towels. Last, and the most disturbing of them all, when returning from the pool the room key would not work. I went down to guest services to get a new key. The receptionist asked me what room I wanted a key for and I told him my room number, and I received a key to the room. At no point did he ask my name or for an ID. When I got back up to the room the rest of my family were in the room. When I inquired about how they got in the room, I was told that an employee let them into the room. Again without asking for name or ID. I guess your hotel has no concern for privacy or possible theft0 of all our belongings. We have been to several Baymonts and have never come across one so bad as this one. We left a day early and had to pay for a room elsewhere because we did not feel safe. I booked by expedia, HUGE mistake, because it is none refundable, contaked the wyndham customer service and they said to contact expedia. Contacted expedia and they told me to contact wyndham. NEVER stay here...it would be a...
