Joann's Fudge — Restaurant in Mackinac Island

I must admit - my husband and I are a bit biased. We worked for Joann's, met through Joann's, were engaged IN Joann's... so BELIEVE ME when I tell you that Joann's Fudge has magic in it because they changed our lives. Anyways... OF COURSE we had to have Joann's Fudge for our wedding favors! The entire process was easy, and you are able to take your time and view selections online for print, boxes, pictures, etc before submitting a request. Sue is always amazing and honest about what you can do to make sure your wedding favors are the BEST part of your wedding - Thank you Sue. You know how much Jimmy and I appreciate and miss you. We ordered more favors than we invited people, and we were lucky to leave our own wedding with a favor for myself and my husband because they will be THAT popular! Don't forget! My partner and I went in and i asked for vanilla fudge and he asked for the plain chocolate fudge. The girl working grabbed the chocolate walnut and I was like “wait a minute” and my partner said “I asked for plain chocolate” as she was wrapping it up and she’s nodding her head saying “yes” and he says “you grabbed chocolate walnut” she said “no I didn’t” and he said “there’s chunks in there I see them” and I said “yeah can you just check” and she said “there’s no chunks.” And at that point she’s done wrapping and we’re like “can you just open it up and check?” And she’s shaking her head. We thought we were crazy and just paid for it and left. She did in fact give us chocolate walnut. My partner was upset, but its probably one of the funniest things that I’ve had happen to me, but i guess not cool if someone is allergic, or in my partner’s case he doesn’t like walnuts. Vanilla fudge was absolutely delicious though!

TLDR gaslit by worker saying she grabbed plain chocolate fudge when she really grabbed chocolate walnut. Best vanilla fudge...

We stopped in on June 29th after turning in our rental bikes. First walking to Murdick's fudge, but left the music was obnoxious for a fudge shoppe, the place looked dingy and smelt of something burning... We immediately left and darted back to Joann's that was BEAUTIFUL decorated as classic American candy store, music was not overbearing and they had other customers... This was a good sign. Nice displayed merchandise, clean display, counter tops, floors as well as the ceiling fans, of course WONDERFUL aroma. Great variety of fudge. The lady's were super friendly with other customers and with us. She offered a sample, my husband was being weird and hesitant so I accepted her offer and the Traverse City Cherry was Delicious he then tried some and we were sold. We also bought Toffee, my fav. and some others for friends at home.
