Came in on sat 8/16, were seated after a 2 min wait, place was busy but not overly. There were 2 tables and at least 2 booths open that I could see
We were handed two menus, and 2 kids menus, that are made to draw on with dry erase markers (BUT NO MARKERS GIVEN) . After about 5 mins we got the attention of someone and they gave the 2 children a total of 4 markers, 3 blue 1 red š Approximately another 5 minutes go buy and a waitress finally came by and put 4 waters on our table ( mind you it wasnāt that busy) Never offered to ask us for a beverage order, just walked away About 10 -15 minutes later she came back and asked us our order, kids single pancakes each, adults 2 pancakes, and I asked for a burger, med rare, was told that the burgers were smash burgers, I said ok, even though the menu did not say that .. still no beverage order⦠After about 15 more minutes, I got our serverās attention and asked for a cappuccinoā¦. She said okā¦.. another 10 minutes go buy, and finally received the cappuccinoā¦. Ok not really, it was a terrible tasting expresso at best. No flavor and warm⦠Another 15 go buy and our food is delivered, by other serversā¦. Kids pancakes cold, adults pancakes room temp at best, and my āsmash burgerā not a smash burger at all except for the 2 thin ( maybe 1/16 pound ) burgers being paper thinā¦, still no beverage was offered, no we did not complain at the time, because frankly, I donāt think anyone would have cared, not one person ( our server, or what appeared to be maybe a manager) stopped by to see how our meal was⦠I again flagged down our server and asked for our tab, gave her my card. And payed it. No mind you, I eat out a restaurants 250 plus days a year, at anything from 4-5 star establishments to mom and pop kitchens, to dive bars, and some yes had bad service, or bad food but never have I been as disappointed with every aspect of an establishment as I was with yours. And in all my years I have always found a reason to leave a tip, but sadly yours will go down as a first. Never in my trips to the island will my shadow darken your door way, but I will freely share this experience with everyone I know, and strangers, and warn them do not go
I am not asking you for anything, except maybe train your employees, all of them including your management, and learn how not to piss off...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went here after reading a review of the short rib risotto and oh my goodness it did not disappoint! This place is not only our favorite restaurant on the island, but possible in the state of Michigan. The service is amazing, special shout out to Eve our waitress who took the time to make sure we knew what we were ordering and to really make sure we enjoyed our experience. The drinks were spectacular, but for us the star of the show is the food. We ended up visiting twice on this trip. First night we had filet and the short rib risotto...do yourself a favor and get that risotto. I can['t even explain how delicious it is. The filet was also cooked to perfection and by far better than a filet we had the following night at an upscale place up the street. The next visit was burgers...and these were hands down the best burgers we have ever had. Portions are large and satisfying. I almost forgot the brussel sprout chips! I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order or the service here. A must visit if you are on the island. Also special thanks to the manager for also making sure we had a great time and for going above and beyond in his...
