So our experience was strange and disappointing this evening. We traveled an hour to come to this Boston's because the one in mill Creek closed and it was a favorite for this family of pizza lovers. My order was a pizza burger, my partner got a vegan burger, and his brother (its his birthday) got a cheese pizza on thin crust. It didn't seem to take long at all for our orders to come and the server was friendly, however when the food came both my pizza burger and the pizza were over cooked - the pizza being burned and not edible, the burger was on the verge of hockey puck but I am not one for conflict about experimental cuisine I had ordered more out of curiosity than anything else so i decieded to power through and eat what i could of mine. The birthday boy, however decided to ask them to make his pizza again due to how blackened it was. The server politely took the food back and agreed to bring another. Some time went by and we over heard some talk in the kitchen about the state of the pizza and eventually the server came back to ask for clarification. He said that the thin crust always came out like that so would he like to try the regular crust instead, we agreed- whatever they needed to do to not get the blackened char on there (though we've all eaten plenty of thin crust cheese pizzas in our lives- and at Boston's in particular-to know that it is in fact possible to cook a thin crust pizza without burning its crust black). By the defensiveness of the staff it came across that whoever cooked the burned pizza must have taken our asking for a new one personally. It took a very long time for the new pizza to come and while less black than the original pizza presented to us the new one was also very much over cooked and obviously so. We could tell the server saw this as well but they left the pizza and did not come back to check in and see how it was. Getting our drinks refilled after the interaction seemed a point of contention as well, the server seeming curtly polite but dismissive, hiding behind the bar counter for the rest of the dining experience. Due to the strange atmosphere, we decided to box up the untouched pizza, pay for it, and get the birthday boy some Popeyes instead. Pictured is the second burned pizza they brought out to us. This experience caused us to grieve the loss of the mill Creek Bostons all the more. Perhaps this location could call the old kitchen staff and have them do a training day at this facility!

The rating is misleading. New management is doing a fantastic job. Excellent food and service. I’ve had wine with spaghetti and meatballs every day this week in all different restaurants and so far, Boston’s has been the best. The pomodoro sauce is mellow and tastes like ripe tomatoes instead of sugar like many other places. There wasn’t too much sauce, it was spaghetti - not soup. And the sauce was sauce, not obviously canned diced tomatoes like some places. Lol! The meatballs were excellent not round sausages like other places. The spaghetti was not pretentiously undercooked (al dente), it was cooked like homemade. Some of the pasta dishes are baked style with lots of cheese toppings but you can create your own, which is exactly what I did. It came with delicious cheese toast as well. You can order from the menu or make your own pasta or pizza. The wine is tasty and comes in a real wine glass. I’m not a food critic but I have just learned that this place is under new management. And from what I can tell they are doing a great job and the old rating is totally misleading. And Wow! Look at the desert.

Tables / booths are big.. Maybe too big. We had to eat on the edges of our seats. All of our food came out hot and fresh. The cauliflower Buffalo appetizer was surprisingly excellent. I'm a chicken guy but we the cauliflower due to vegetarians in our party.. And it tasted like chicken straight up. Cactus chips were in my opinion too crispy and the seasoning was caked on too much. The pizza burger was really good and filling. Fries are really average but that's a good thing. My wife loved her Mac and cheese. It had a queso like kick to it which was a flavor enhancer. I thought my ultimate pepperoni pizza needed a lot more sauce but it still tasted good. My in laws liked their impossible burger (well seasoned) and the margarita pizza. Decent prices, beautiful interior (recently renovated) and friendly service. This is a great place to go if you don't want to wait for a table and still have a nice experience

Last night was by far my worst service ever in a restaurant. As a former employee of the company (employed back in 2005-2009 under different ownership). So I can say for fact that this speaks volumes as a previous employee of this company that I got the worst service of my whole life!

We had a larger party and I expected for the service to be a tiny bit longer because of the size of our party.

We ordered not once but 3 times for drinks and our meals!!! After first 90 minutes we asked about our drinks and where they where.. The server kept saying oh sorry the bar is backed up and that they would check on our drinks soon.. 45 minutes later still nothing!! Then at 2.5 hour mark we still didn’t have drinks, water, soda or anything!

We had 3 very young children in our party (1,4,7) the children NEVER got water or their drinks until 2.5 hours later or after they finally finished eating!! Us adults didn’t even get water for 2.5 hours after being seated! To add to the frustration the dishwasher ended up serving us our water! The dishwasher not a server but person whom washes the dishes!! That’s not their job to serve people!!

The server finally then decided to finally bring out our sodas and beers. They couldn’t even remember if the diet soda they were serving to the pregnant lady in our group if it had jack Daniel’s in it!!! We had to taste test all the drinks before giving any darker soda to the other minors in our group.

Then when the food finally arrived after 2.5 hours the children again were the very very last to get their food. My meal and other adults in the group when we finally got our meals it was also ice cold, undercooked or burnt. So we again asked for items to be fixed. Sadly again we were meet with haste and lots of I’m so sorry yes I’ll fix that or oh gosh I’m sorry for that but again it wasn’t fixed or anything. The servers kept also bring out food we never ordered also to add to the confusion..

At this rate we couldn’t bear it any longer and asked for some type of compensation for the lack of service. We kindly explained how the lack of service was unacceptable and how after several mistakes that the owner should take responsibility for the actions of their employees and make it right.

The server/owner then started yelling at us to get out and not to return and to just leave! As someone whom has worked her whole college career in restaurants and been on the other end I would have without a thought asked the manager to comp this tables meal. I would never asked for the meal to be comped but in this case I was beyond disappointed and didn’t feel like we got treated right.

So no we will never be returning here again. Beware of the service and quality of food is poor. This place in the early 2000s was thriving and had amazing service and food looked as pictured and I always enjoyed coming here. Now I am embarrassed to even say I worked for this company because of how poorly it’s being managed.

I am truly disappointed in our experience and wish for no other family to be treated so unkindly. We just simply wanted to have a nice dinner together as a group and we couldn’t have been more disappointed in...

We normally love Boston’s and eat here a couple times a month but after the last two times we attempted to eat dinner here we will not be returning. Tonight was by far one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had (saying a lot considering we eat out 3 nights a week). We arrived around 7:15pm and it was busy, but only at half capacity due to covid distancing rules. Our waitress came over to us after 15 minutes of being there and went into a rant about how busy they were and her manager was doing this and that, and she is a trainer and not a waitress and going much farther into details than necessary. We ordered drinks, water and 4 appetizers. After 30 minutes being there we still hadn’t even gotten our water. She never came back to our table to check on us and would disappear for long periods so we finally asked another waitress who was prompt. Our drinks came out about 10 minutes later and the drink I ordered specifically with no mint due to an allergy came out with mint in it. 10 minutes later when she came back to our table I told her about the drink and she took it back to the bar. Our food finally came out around the hour mark of being there (appetizers nonetheless) and everything was cold and disgusting. Steak skewers and chicken wings were almost inedible. Never got plates, napkins, or our sauces with our meal so sat most of the time waiting for those items while our already cold food got even colder and the waitress never came back to check on us. My fixed drink came out with no alcohol in it but no point in asking it to be fixed. After picking at the food we asked for our check and told the waitress the food was not good. She didn’t say anything and then took another 8 minutes to bring our check out where we were charged full price for everything. Very disappointing experience and a huge waste of $60 - a freezer pizza at home would have been a better choice. I can’t imagine how this restaurant could possibly operate at full capacity during non covid times with 15 or more tables than was there tonight. I managed pizza restaurants for 10 years before opening my own company so I can totally understand that stuff happens but this was all and all handled extremely poor. No apologies were made or questions asked about why we didn’t like our food. Won’t be going...
