Declining Service Standards Across the Board. Remember those days when service mattered? The restaurant did not have a lot of food items, and baby back ribs were on the list of items they did not have, along with multiple food items. My table found out about the missing food items through other customers. Chicken, baby back ribs, queso, nachos, corn, banana pudding, and more. My 8-year-old granddaughter ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, and the cheese looked old and dried out, as if it had been reheated. The manager gave a lame excuse and offered a slice of cake for the inconvenience. I wasn't sure what the cake slice was. Chocolate and banana pudding was on the list of things the restaurant didn't have, so I couldn't call it. The service was awful. The so-called cheese biscuits were cheese muffins that were too sweet. Diabetics beware! I asked for the Chopped Southern Salad to-go. I had to replace the chicken for smoked turkey. I asked for blue cheese dressing. I got home and there was no dressing just a cup of shredded cheese and an empty black cup with nothing in it, WHY? SMH! We asked for separate checks, but did not receive separate checks. A drink was missing from the order, and when the waitress came with the drink ordered, the drink had more ice than soda. The waitress did not come to check on our table for over 45 minutes. Service was terrible from start to finish. I called once I got home and was purposely left on hold until closing. No one came back to the phone, so it automatically hung up. It was just too much to complain about and I usually do not complain, so I let it go. Eight individuals in our birthday celebration dinner for my son, eight. The check came to $194+ for this awful service. Tips are according to service, I've always believed, "NO SERVICE, NO TIP." Twenty-five years in the restaurant business and I could not believe what I had experienced at Jim' N Nicks! What restaurant would let their food items run out? Maybe invest in a better manager and a staff that cares. First and last time visiting Jim' N Nicks. I started to personally call Jon Taffer to assist this business.

Horrible service! Incorrect order! Cold food! Date: 12-22-22 Time: 8:56 p.m. Server/Cashier: Quentin and Rachel I had just left the drive through window and pulled over to grab a bite of my food. Upon looking in the bag, I discovered there were no utensils. Had I been going home, this would not have been a problem. However, I’m traveling to pick up my aunt for the holidays. I turned around and made it back up to the window. I had to blow my horn several times. Many people saw me at the window but did not acknowledge me. I understand they had just closed, but I paid $24.76 for my food. Utensils should have automatically been put in the bag. Finally, a young lady did come to the window. I told her that I needed some utensils, so she gave me the silverware and a drink. I pulled into the Kohl’s parking lot and thought I would finally be able to eat. Unfortunately, one of my sides was missing. It was the potato salad. I was so in a hurry to get the utensils that I didn’t even check to see if my order was correct. The potato salad was not in the food container or bag. Since they were closed, I called several times. Someone kept picking up the phone and hanging up in my face. If I wasn’t so hungry, I would have thrown the food in the garbage. My food was cold, and the order was wrong. I will be contacting the manager in the morning. I have never had such horrible food or service at a Jim’N Nick’s before!

I had a horrible experience the first time I came and it’s really hard to make it a bad experience. We came in got seated it took 20-25 minutes just to get our drinks and bread. The couple behind us was saying how they didn’t get checked on the food wasn’t good and they just left. My fiancé went to get someone and when we got our drinks it tasted weird. It was all adding up. I ordered a brisket sandwich with a side of collards the collards that were given was like half a spoon compared to my fiancés Mac and cheese. I even asked the lady can I get more collards or is this the amount you get and she told me that’s the amount you get I was so shocked I could finish that side with 2 forks. When we got our food I asked for hot sauce and pepper sauce had to wait another 10 minutes to get that by the time we got everything our food was cold. We talked to the manager and he gave us a gift certificate and he was nice but we spent $50 it felt like just a waste we wouldn’t even want to come back to use the certificate.I only gave 3 stars because the manager was understanding I was really disappointed with the service

So I have not Ordered rib tips in a long time and I'm from Chicago. I'm used to going to places like Leons. And saying give me a order of tips. .so I'm in Georgia. Needed to find the ribs ASAP cause. I haven't had ribs any years and I was like if i'm going to have some Cheat food. I gotta do it good.so I go and I ask for rib tips. They don't call them. When we have tips down here.they gave me poor pork, and of course, I didn't check my bag when I was at the window. So I get home, open it up and I'm like, oh c* I said I didn't explain it right. So let me go back and see if maybe they do have cause. I was trying to get it chopped. I said Pork brisket but chopped and not shredded. Thinking it was gonna make a difference because I thought I was ordering the correct thing.so I want to show her what I was looking for they was so polite so nice so understanding. They was like we don't have that, but we can give you this. Now let's get to the taste period they Have these little corn bread muffins? That just oh, my God, is delicious. .then they have this chetter link. Oh my gosh. I should just order some more of those too. I only got one I wish I had got more than one. And what they did have. I know to ask for that next time ago. She just gave me the small ends of the ribs and Open the container. I was like all these are nice. They provide like A1 customer service...
