Burgermeister - South Beach — Restaurant in Miami Beach

Update: Hey Chicken is a virtual kitchen that BurgerMeister runs and they caused me to lose out over $29 in delivery income because they choose to accept orders and then close the kitchen and refuse to make the order. This order was placed and CONFIRMED by the restaurant at 11:46pm and they turned down 3 drivers including me for this order so they could close the kitchen early. They really have disappointed me again and will not get my business back this time because you've wasted my time, energy and caused me financial harm at this time. UberEats order ECFD3. You all just need to be removed from the platform if you can't process orders properly. There's NO EXCUSE for accepting an order then when I arrive you tell me you don't know but that you don't have any order and the kitchen is closed. You all have me hot! The delivery platforms don't pay us when this happens and it takes so long to even get the order removed.

Previous Review - Changed due to Experience with their virtual kitchen delivery service One of my favorite burger places in South Beach. It’s pretty close to everything. I’ve been here a few times but didn’t write a review. I haven’t been disappointed yet and I will say I must try new things next time I’m hooked on the Bacon N’ Shrooms Burger paired with Sweet Potato Fries and their delicious ranch dressing. Bigger IS BETTER and Size DOES MATTER. You’ll appreciate the quality of the product and that extra umphh that most places on South Beach lack. My burgers are always tasty and cooked to order. Don’t forget a classic Coke from here. It’s good! Not fond of the bar only type seating inside but they have a decent sized outdoor seating area. It’s super close to the road and intersection so it can be a bit loud if that matters to you. The service is hit or miss but the miss is not really much as it only occurs when they are extra busy. Was very excited to visit this spot with my friends, left with a sour taste in my mouth.

My biggest gripe with the location was the service. Myself and my party of 3 were ignored for a while, then lead very aloof-ly to an outside table with wobbly tables and chairs. Not a smile or a hello, just a transactional "How many"

We sat down and due to the location and being seated outside in the heat we asked for tap water, to which we were told they don't do tap water, with no explanation as to why, and made to feel like we had done something wrong by asking.

Our servers spoke very quietly (we are all young men and have no hearing issues) and unenthusiastically, barely raising their heads to look at us when talking.

We were ignored for a very long time before a drinks order was even taken, about 20 minutes, it was not a particularly busy night, but a well known fitness influencer was getting all the attention from the staff for the night, seated instantly and served immediately. If I'm paying the same amount I don't expect to be treated as a second class customer. (He was not recognised or approached, we only know of him, there wasn't a scene being caused by his arrival or anything to stress out or occupy the attention of the staff.

We also witnessed the staff being rude to other customers, scolding them as they were leaving after not being attended to when waiting to be seated saying "You don't just leave as soon as someone isn't paying attention to you" ALSO talking down to another pair of customers who moved a chair next to their table as they had been seated wrong saying angrily "Don't touch the chairs, we are the ones that move the chairs" pretty appalling treatment of paying customers.

Honestly the food is decent, nothing exceptional, prices are average for the location. Some of the optional toppings are overpriced and not descriptive enough, for example $2 extra for "Grilled Pineapple" and only getting a single slice of slightly warm tinned pineapple slices, not impressed.
