Malua Cozy Coffee, situated conveniently on Alton Road near my workplace and home, recently became my breakfast pitstop. The staff's warmth and attentiveness immediately put me at ease, creating a genuinely inviting atmosphere. I dove into a dish featuring fresh, perfectly cooked eggs alongside delicious bacon and smoked sausage. The bread was another delightful element, adding a satisfying heartiness to the meal. However, the portion size felt a tad insubstantial compared to the price point. One curious choice was the inclusion of cold baked beans – while the beans themselves might have been fine, the temperature threw the dish off balance for me.

Despite this small misstep, Malua Cozy Coffee has definitely piqued my interest. Their commitment to fresh ingredients shines through, and the friendly service creates a welcoming environment. I haven't had the opportunity to delve into their coffee selection yet, but that's certainly on my list for the next visit. They also boast a menu with a variety of options, so I'm eager to explore what else they have to offer. Just a friendly heads-up for those who, like me, tend to run a bit warm: the interior leans towards the chilly side. Overall, Malua Cozy Coffee offers a pleasant and convenient breakfast experience, with a few minor tweaks that could elevate it to a...

They tried to make an “aesthetic” coffeeshop but it’s just another extremely mediocre Miami place. The empanadas and the pastries are horrible, worst than the gas station one, you can even tell by just looking at them, not artisanal at all, the dough of the empanadas is not traditional argentinian, just some cheap frozen dough. The fillings are horrible, cheap bitter cheese, they try hard so they think putting lots of different cheap cheeses in the empanada makes it more attractive, the filling is old and dry. The place inside has a horrible vibe. The people taking the order are so casual it feels rude. Don’t waste your time this is disappointing at all levels. Too bad because they have a great location that went to waste. Imagine if business owners had a good palate and some standards before thinking anyone can own...

Affordable amazing and fresh food! Love their bagel sandwiches. Please keep your prices reasonable, so rare in this area!

Update: I wish this update was on better circumstances but I came by this past week in June with my boyfriend and the crackers they gave on the side were totally stale (we've had them several times before and they're supposed to be crunchy) and the overall quality of our food went down (we got the same exact items before, this time the bagel sandwich had less filling, felt just like a bunch of hard chewy toasted bagel). Also, they need to add more matcha to the iced matcha latte and blend it well -- it was like a large cup of milk with minimal matcha flavor. I'll keep the 5 stars for now but I want to ensure you all keep the quality as it was when I rated it as...

I recently visited this amazing coffee place right off of Alton Road with my dad, and it was an incredible experience! The location is perfect, just a short walk from South Beach, making it a great spot to relax before or after a stroll. The coffee was fantastic—I had a delicious brew that really hit the spot, while my dad enjoyed his hot coffee. We also indulged in some baked goods; I had a perfectly flaky croissant, and my dad savored two delectable pastries. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and tasty treats in a charming setting. Can't wait to go back!

I discovered this place while walking along South Beach and… what a place!!! I'm from Spain and I miss the food there a lot, and Malua's alioli doesn't have one bit to envy from Spain. Sandwiches, Smoothies, Coffees... I tried everything and everything was delicious. However, I've already been back again and I'm going to keep coming back and recommending it. I emphasize that I am Celiac and they have many Gluten Free options, both in Bagels and Sandwiches. A 10!!!
