I stopped by Friends and ordered two staples of Venezuelan comfort food: the tequeños and the sirloin cachapa. Here’s how it went: Tequeños: Crispy, golden, and fried just right. The cheese inside had that perfect salty melt, and they came with a creamy green dipping sauce (likely an avocado or cilantro aioli). The contrast between the crunch and the warm interior was spot-on. Solid appetizer — satisfying and nostalgic. Sirloin Cachapa: A hefty plate with a generous portion. The cachapa itself had a beautiful golden sear with a sweet corn base, soft in the center and just a little crispy on the edges. The sirloin was tender and flavorful, paired nicely with avocado slices, shredded cheese, and a scoop of sour cream on the side. There was a touch of pico de gallo for freshness. Altogether, it was hearty and indulgent without being overwhelming. Atmosphere: The space was casual and laid-back, with cozy lighting and enough room to relax. It felt like a good spot to unwind or catch up with friends over food that hits the soul. Verdict: Authentic flavors, good portions, and great execution. If you’re in the mood for Venezuelan comfort food, Friends delivers both on flavor and experience.

HAIR in my food(it was sticked to the rice) I ordered churrasco and rice, sangria was tasteless; and a bad experience afterwards, the waitress was insinuating that we put the hair on the dish, and she was talking to us in a very very rude way with zero customer service, she told me she would check the cameras to see if I put it, after doing it, she obviously saw that I didn’t do nothing and took it out of the bill, and when she came to the table she was like, “I’ll make an exception” and kept being rude to my husband and me, I asked her name and she told me I won’t tell you my name because I already took the plate out of your bill, and she didn’t want to tell me her name until I grabbed my cellphone and she knew that I would start to record it and then she told me “MARIA”, a random name of course, because on the bill it said “SUSANA MESERA”, we have been to this place so many times, and we never had an experience like this, I hope the owner get to know better the people they hire to provide a better customer service…

I went to lunch at Friends Market & Bistro today with my husband. I had been craving a cheeseburger so I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The drink you see is a tropical immune smoothie which I ordered because I was feeling a tad under the weather. My husband had the deluxe burger with fries and a berry immune smoothie. The service was good...a longtime waitress waited on us. The food came fast and it was absolutely delicious! If you are ever in the Brickell area check them out. They also have a varied menu with fantastic salads (I personally recommend the salmon salad), sandwiches, wraps, pasta, soups and breakfast food (American and Venezuelan), etc. There’s an on-site bakery and a small market with sundry goods and a decent selection of wine. Want to unwind? Have a beer at the funky little bar where you can watch music videos... today’s selections were vintage Shakira and Ricky Martin. Friends is a hidden gem. Craving satisfied!

I visited Friends Market and Bistro in Miami, and overall, it was a great experience. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, with a modern decor and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and attentive, always willing to help and make recommendations.

The menu offers a variety of options, including sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, all made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the sandwiches, they were made with fresh ingredients and had a great balance of flavors. They also have a great selection of freshly baked pastries and cakes.

The prices were also reasonable and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual lunch or breakfast with friends or family.

Overall, Friends Market and Bistro in Miami is an excellent option for anyone looking for a high-quality food experience while in Miami. The menu is extensive, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual lunch...

Do NOT go here. Seripusly just dont! The food is disgusting and everything is deep fried and gross. The service is so slow that we waited 30 mins and noone even came to ask what we want. The manager and waiters only speak Spanish and can't talk in English for the most part. We are absolutely apauledby the manager who said his name was Christian or listion or listian. (Short with short brown hair) we came here on Thursday Dec 30th at 10pm and asked what time they sit until, an employee said they close at 1130 and sit until 1115. We came back at exactly 10:50 (look at the cameras) we sat for 10 mins with noone coming over. At 10:58pm the manager chistian/listian came over to tell us the kitchen closed and they can't help us. We told him an employee said we're good if we sit before 1115 but he could care less and was very rude to us literally kicking us out in very broken English that I couldn't even understand. We will NEVER come here again and would never want anyone else to be treated like that. Absolutely horrible business and management. They...
