If you’re in Miami and looking for a spot that absolutely nails flavor, service, and atmosphere, look no further than Presidente. From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch.

Let’s start with the food — the oysters were out of this world. Fresh, perfectly chilled, and served with all the right accompaniments, they were hands-down some of the best I’ve had in the city. Each bite was a briny, buttery dream.

And then came the Waygu burger sliders… Wow. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, these sliders packed a punch well beyond their size. The combination of seasonings and toppings made every bite more addictive than the last. They’re a must-order.

The staff? Impeccable. Every person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly especially Antonio at the door. They made us feel welcomed and well taken care of without being overbearing — a balance that’s hard to come by.

Absolutely loved my experience at Bar Presidente! The whole vibe was on point — from the atmosphere to the flavors, everything felt elevated but still super cozy and welcoming.

Let’s talk food. First off, the sushi portions were surprisingly generous and perfectly sized — not too small, not overstuffed. Just right, and super fresh. Then came the risotto... honestly, one of the best I’ve had in a long time — creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right.

But the real stars of the night? The Wagyu sliders. Total game-changer. The meat was rich and juicy, but that sauce? Absolutely insane — like next-level flavor bomb. It made the whole thing unforgettable.

Also tried the veal milanesa and wow — top tier. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to perfection.

And of course, I had to finish with dessert. The chocolate lava cake (volcán) was rich and gooey in the best way possible, but the real surprise was the piña colada pavlova — so light, tropical, and unique. It was the perfect sweet ending.

I came to this bar an hour before closing, simply wanting a drink before heading in for the night. A group of women was let in right before me with no issue. When it was my turn, I was told the bar was “closed” — despite the fact that their posted hours say 2 AM, the door was open, and I could clearly see the bar inside was active, not full, and welcoming others.

When I politely questioned this, I was still refused entry. From a customer perspective, this was not only unprofessional but felt discriminatory. No establishment should advertise open hours, selectively deny patrons, and then continue admitting others moments later.

As a Black woman, the message was loud and clear: my presence wasn’t wanted. That is unacceptable. Customers deserve honesty, fairness, and equal treatment — not exclusion based on who you are.
