I will first start off my review by saying that I am a huge fan of the capital Grille, I try to hit up a capital Grille in every city that I go to, as I really love the food. However, tonight‘s visit at the Miami location was terrible I sat at the bar, and my bartender, gave me a menu when I said that in the first words out of his mouth was, do you want bread?? Not hello, not how are you, not ask me if I’ve ever been there before, or any term to welcome me to the restaurant. I replied yes, at which point I was then given a menu, fork, and knife, and napkin. After the water was given to me, my bread arrived. I was then asked if I wanted a drink, in which I ordered a Coke. I was never explained any drink specials, I was never explained anything about the cocktail menu, nothing. I was never even asked about if I wanted a wine list, at this point I felt like I wasn’t even wanted there. After receiving my Coke, the next question that I got was, do you want food? Again, never asked me about if it was my first visit, never asked me if I wanted to know about the menu, never explained to meaning about their steaks, so I ordered three appetizers, I ordered the shrimp cocktail, crabcake, and the Nuski‘s bacon. After my empty Coke glass sat empty for about nine minutes, I was finally asked if I wanted a refill. The international code, for I want another drink, is an empty bar glass pushed to the edge of the bar, on their rail. Not only did I want another Coke, it sat empty for nine minutes before I even got questioned on if I wanted another drink. This was the only time I was offered a refill, Even though the drink class got emptied a short time, waiter. After receiving my food, I was never asked how the food was, I was never asked if I needed anything else, but at the very end when everything was gone, the male bartender asked me if I wanted any more food, or if I wanted to close out because the kitchen was closing. I was going to order a main menu item, as well as possibly a dessert, but it was very clear that both the male and female bartender this evening could care less about me, my business, or me spending any money. I truly felt like I wasn’t wanted there, and I truly felt like they can give two crud’s about me being there as I was all by myself. When the female bartender was taking my food order (her name on the receipt is Beverly, I purposely spoke a little bit on the quiet side in hopes that maybe she would talk to me or strike up a conversation. Not even a smile or anything.

I’m truly upset at how my visit was this evening, I’m out in Florida on a business trip, I was excited to see that there was a capital Grille in town, as it’s one of my favorite restaurants, but these two employees need some serious training, And need to learn to pay attention to their customers. Typically, I will tip any between 40 and 70%, and this is the first time in a very long time that I did not even tip 20%. If you can’t even give me the time of day, a simple smile, a refill, and just wanna push me out the door, I don’t even wanna give you a dollar. Grille, please invest in your employees at this location, as they need...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Capital Grille in Brickell, and I can confidently say that it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment my party and I walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our evening was made even more exceptional thanks to our server, Gus, who undoubtedly proved himself to be the best in the business.

Gus exuded a genuine passion for his profession, and it was evident in every aspect of his service. His knowledge of the menu was impeccable, and he took the time to guide us through the diverse offerings, sharing insightful recommendations and descriptions of each dish. His expertise truly elevated our dining experience.

Not only was Gus attentive and personable, but he also possessed a remarkable ability to anticipate our needs. He ensured that our glasses were always filled, promptly delivered our orders, and seamlessly accommodated any special requests or dietary preferences. It was clear that Gus genuinely cared about our satisfaction and went above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable.

One of the standout qualities of Gus was his ability to strike the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. He engaged in genuine conversations with our table, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. His warm demeanor and infectious smile added an extra touch of warmth to the already inviting atmosphere of The Capital Grille.

Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish we ordered was an absolute masterpiece. The culinary expertise of the kitchen staff shone through in every bite. From the succulent steaks cooked to perfection, to the delicate seafood dishes bursting with flavor, each plate was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence.

What truly set this dining experience apart, however, was the seamless teamwork between the kitchen and Gus. The timing of each course was impeccable, and Gus's attentiveness ensured that our meal flowed effortlessly. It was evident that the entire staff at The Capital Grille shared a commitment to providing an unparalleled dining experience.

To sum it up, dining at The Capital Grille in Brickell with Gus as our server was an absolute delight. The exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and warm ambiance created an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience, and I implore you to request Gus as your server to take your visit to the next level. I look forward to returning and creating more cherished memories at The...

This visit was far below the standard we have come to expect from Capital Grille and left us feeling ignored and undervalued as guests.

From the beginning, the service from our server, Jennifer, was unacceptable. She did not go over the menu with us or provide a drink menu until we specifically asked for it. When we inquired about lunch specials, it felt as though we were inconveniencing her. What made this even worse was observing her promptly providing the drink menu and lunch specials to three other tables seated after us. This disparity in service was extremely disappointing.

We waited over an hour for our food. My husband ordered a medium-well steak, but when it finally arrived, it was medium-rare—completely the opposite of what he requested. When we brought this to Jennifer’s attention, instead of apologizing or asking if we would like the steak remade, she immediately said, “We’ll just remove it from the bill.” This response was dismissive and gave us the impression that our presence was an inconvenience to her.

We were not looking for the steak to be removed from the bill; in fact, my husband wanted the steak he ordered. As a server, she should have apologized and asked if we would like the steak remade or if there was something else we’d prefer. Instead, her immediate response made us feel brushed off. My husband was so frustrated by this interaction that he decided it was time to leave. He left without eating, still hungry and completely dissatisfied with the experience.

Jennifer never once checked on us during the meal but made sure to engage with and check on the guests at nearby tables. Her lack of professionalism and care was glaring, and this, paired with the poorly handled food issue, made the entire experience unacceptable.

As locals in the neighborhood, we have dined at Capital Grille locations in other cities and always enjoyed exceptional service, but this visit left us deeply disappointed. I hope you will address these issues with your team to ensure no other guests have to endure such...
