Today was my second time placing an order requesting my pizza to be cut into squares and today was the second time I was disappointed that I was met with triangles and an overcooked pizza. I ordered a half black olive and green olive pizza Cajun eight piece boneless wings and lemon pepper fries and two ranch, five slices of pizza was covered in olives. That’s not half my wings never showed up. I paid in cash and because they delivered through DoorDash, I had to give the money. I can’t get any credit from DoorDash because I ordered through Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut won’t deliver because they don’t do delivery anymore , and I was told that they would pass along my information to the GM who would give me a refund and I asked how do I get a refund if I pay cash if she said that that would be something I would have to discuss with the GM. I’m more upset with myself because this isn’t the first or second time that I’ve been disappointed with not only the quality food but the Customer Service, but this is the only Pizza Hut that delivers to me. In this economy, every dollar counts. and I don’t have money to waste to pay for food that I didn’t get or overcooked food. half a pizza is four slices. This pizza has five slices covered in olives. I requested half-and-half for reason.
UPDATE: I called the number on my order and pressed 2 and told them what happened and after a little wait they put in a new order for me. Thank you.
UPDATE 2: they sent out the wrong wings. I don’t know what flavor this is it’s some sort of buffalo, not Cajun rub. As if I’d trust eating a wet wing after “complaining” that I didn’t get my chicken. I’m done. If I can’t get my food from a different location I’m just going to have to let pizza hut go.
My original door dash driver told me that he saw the girl at the front counter mess up someone else’s order before mine and he claims he couldn’t see what all I had. He said he thought she was new. A new employee I can understand, but to have two employees mess up in the same day is crazy.
Do better Pizza Hut.
…. UPDATE III: I tried to just let it go, but I’m like absolutely not. I’m not a person that can afford to throw away money and be unhappy and not satisfied at the same time. So at 3:37pm, I called Pizza Hut yet again I spoke to the same person. I spoke to the first time which turns out is the manager. her name is Crystal Rodriguez. she said that she will personally come and deliver my cajun rub wings once her second shift manager gets there. so we shall see what happens.
UPDATE 4: 4:38pm, Crystal came through with my wings! Not only that she threw in some breadsticks and a melt. I’m not gonna eat the melt because it has pork and I don’t eat pork, but I was so grateful that she took the time to not only remake my order and bring it personally, but to use her own gas. I had to run back out and give her a tip. Because of Crystal I am willing to give Pizza Hut another chance. Thank you Crystal Rodriguez. Y’all need to give her a raise because customer service has taken a nose dive in the last decade and Crystal made my day by giving a darn and she told “it’s the job. I know how you feel, when I order something I just want what I ordered too.” The four star service was for...
Read moreI'm quite baffled and shocked regarding my experiences today with this establishment. I ordered a medium sausage pizza, some garlic bread and a soda today for lunch at 1:00. Per the website, it was estimated that the food would arrive in 30 minutes. I understand this is JUST an estimate and that things can vary based on the volume of orders received, but to wait for over an hour for my food to be delivered wasn't very impressive. Of course, the driver arrived with my food and forgot the soda. Upon opening the pizza box I was in utter shock at the odor and smell that was coming from the food I was about to consume. To top it off, the crust surrounding my pizza was burnt. Lightly put, the sausage smelled of wet dog, and after taking two bites, I realized that the sausage was freezer burned. I had another co-worker try the pizza and they confirmed that something "was not right" with the pizza that was just delivered. I called the number listed on google to speak with a manager and was routed to their corporate office. The customer service rep told me that the manager would be calling me back shortly to talk about my order. NOW THIS is where it gets even worse: An extremely unprofessional woman by the name of LaTonya (I believe this is her name) was on the other end of the line and bluntly asked "what's wrong with your order" - I begin to explain the entire situation and started by mentioning the soda. I was immediately cut off in mid-conversation asking what type of soda I ordered and I told her "sierra mist" - She then stated that I must've ordered from another location because she didn't get an order for Sierra Mist. The tone in her voice and her demeanor was extremely defensive and it was apparent that this conversation wasn't going to get very far. I asked her to check my phone number, and she then confirmed that I ordered from her store. OK, on with the rest of the issues: I start to mention the burnt crust and I was told "I cut your pizza, the crust wasn't burnt" - Wow, I'm shocked that NOW you finally remember my order, except you didn't remember that it was burnt... I told her about the sausage taste and she told me that they have made plenty of pizza's and haven't received a complaint. LaTonya then offered to have a driver deliver me a second pizza and I told her that wasn't necessary and asked her what other options we have. She then told me that she would refund my order and that a driver would be by the building to pick up the order. It's now almost 5:00 and the smelly pizza is now fermenting in the back office with no sign of the driver anywhere. With the extreme lack of professionalism, the time it took to get my order, the inaccuracy of the order, etc. I will never order from this establishment again. I don't know that I will ever use ANY pizza hut again after this experience. My team members and myself are still in shock with what happened and how this...
Read moreI don't even know where to begin... Let me start by saying I live downtown, and have eaten at many different places down here. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! All I will say is, the things that I witnessed (while waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged by ANY one of the four employees who walked by me multiple times), were unbelievable. I order a pizza online, waited 30 minutes, went inside to pick it up, the only problem is... NOBODY said ANYTHING to me. There was a man at the register on the phone. I thought he was going to acknowledge/greet me when he finished his conversation, instead, he hung up the phone and walked away. While he was on the phone, another employee came over to the counter, looked past me (as if looking for someone), then said, and I quote, "where did that N*A go?!" Now... I'm an African American female, the guy was African American as well, so my assumption is that he thought that was okay because we are the same race. But it's wasn't okay at all. It's rather an embarrassment and extremely unprofessional. Not to mention, his pants were sagging so low I literally could see ALL of his navy blue boxers. Needless to say, while he did make eye contact with me... There was no acknowledgement/greeting from him either. As I look back into the "kitchen area" I see an employee walk over to the hanging basket that drains fries/potatoes once they've been pulled from the grease, reach his hand in, and grab a handful of potatoes or fries or whatever they were, and walk away eating them. Yes...AN EMPLOYEE WAS EATING OUT OF THE FRY BIN. THE SAME POTATOES THEY SELL THEIR CUSTOMERS!! We locked eyes - he knew I saw him and he walked around the corner, out of view. Never seen him again. That then drew my attention to all of the people walking around back there, and I realized none of them had on gloves or anything. I was so shocked at what I had just witnessed, that I didn't even notice there was another employee at the counter now. I assume she was a server because she was counting cash and had a ticket in her hand. When she was done counting, she walked away. No acknowledgement/greeting from her either. At that point I called my friend told her my story, she said "ew...girl u need to exit stage left!" So I did. I picked up my cash off the counter and walked out. It was like I was never even there. I don't even think they actually even made the pizza, because there were no pizzas in the warming trays, nor did I receive a call or anything from them to at least see if I was going to come pick up the pizza. Sad part about it is...I don't even eat pizza, I was getting it for someone else. Needless to say, they were grateful I didn't bring them food from this dump. Who knows what kind of food poison causing agents are floating...
