Front Yard Tacos — Restaurant in Mobile

I had the tasty pleasure on a beautiful Saturday to try Front Yard Taco's. The outdoor location is so cute to me. It's located right next to a coffee shop (in my opinion, that's a bonus). I didn't really want much. I was curious about the food truck / restaurant in the yard. Well, all the hype I heard was true! The food I got was served hot, the cashier was friendly and it really did taste good. My order was simply a Carne Asada quesadilla ( no avocado), some Tator tots, and the "Not ranch" sauce. I was one happy camper when my food arrived! First, my quesadilla was loaded with meat, cheese, and the veggies listed. These folks did NOT skimp on the meat and cheese. Everything I ordered was cooked to order, hot and fresh. Yippiee! Now, one super delicious treat of all, that I actually pray that they bottle and sale some day, is that damn delicious "Not Ranch!" Whew, chile, fresh dill was in there for sure. It reminds you of ranch but more flavorful and zippy. I got an extra side of it to take home. We endeavored to try local tacos and these tacos did not disappoint! The seating area is cute, shaded and next to a coffee shop. We went on a Tuesday night and were slightly bummed that they had a limited menu on Tuesdays. However, we tried a few things that we probably wouldn’t have including the Tiki taco! It was dressed with a pineapple slaw, jalapeños and BRUSSELLS! I was intrigued and very happy with the results! The only drinks available were water so if you crave something different then pop over to the coffee shop for an additional beverage! Everything we ordered came out hot and packed with flavor! Totally worth the wait. I wasn’t sure if I would like the BNP taco (with the sweet potato hash) but it was phenomenal. I normally don’t like spicy food but this was just the right amount of heat and flavor. I took my family of 5 there. We all got full on 50$. Food was high quality and fresh! My hubby got the steak breakfast taco and he said the steak was tender and seasoned well! Bonus: There was a high quality coffee shop right there as well.
