Serda's Coffee Company — Restaurant in Mobile

I have been a customer of Serda's since day one. I knew the founder personally and found him to be a great person. The store has recently changed hands and I'm not sure if what I see now went on before the new owners took over but while I love the coffee and the desserts, I have one issue. I have recently been bombarded with employees wearing inappropriate work attire. I don't need to see your t-shirt that says, "My uterus, my choice". I also don't want to see religious imagery on your clothing. Witches, devils, pentagrams and other satanic imagery don't really put me in the mood to enjoy my gelato. I get it. It's a coffee shop. What other place would you find open-minded individuals willing to challenge the status quo? That's fine. But listen up, management, think about getting some uniform shirts or at least re-evaluate your dress code. This attire is unprofessional at best and blatantly disrespectful and...

The place has a great atmosphere, and on the first glance a great menu. I've eaten here twice with my bf. The first time we went here I ordered a veggie omelet and my bf ordered a breakfast bowl with quinoa, egg, spinach, and feta. We waited about a half an hour for food despite being the only table that hadn't eaten yet out of about maybe 8 guests. When our food did arrive his bowl was cold. The food was very bland. We ate here a second time, and although the food came faster the food was again extremely bland. I came here a third time to just pick up a coffee and they told me I could only get a size "large" in my chosen selection. I reluctantly ordered one, and it was ok, but I didn't think it lived up to the quality of a specialty coffee elseware. Overall I think this place is way overpriced for the quality of the food...

One of the best coffee shops I have ever visited!! The shop is clean with lots of seating and working areas, if that’s what you need. There are high tops, tables with chairs, and a couple of sofas.

I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a mocha latte. Everything was perfect! The bagel wasn’t over toasted and flowing over with cream cheese. In fact, someone took the time to spread out the cream cheese evenly. The latte wasn’t too sweet and the perfect temperature.

Bailey took my order and was an absolute gem. She asked me questions along the way about how I wanted my breakfast prepared. She even remembered the simple things like “Good morning “ and “Have a great day”. I visit Mobile every other month and the next time I’m in town, Serda’s is the only place I will buy my coffee from!...
