Last year, the site of the Zen Buffet in Monrovia on Huntington Dr. was bulldozed and I was wondering what are they going to build here. Then a few months ago I saw a sign of Raising Cane’s on this newly built building. I had no idea what the restaurant is about.

Today we visited Raising Cane's, and I must say, it left an indelible impression on my taste buds. I have a lot to say about this place. What a racket. A 3 piece meal or a 4 piece meal only comes with one sauce. Ridiculous. These are not really chicken fingers or chicken tenders. These are really small, not much larger than chicken nuggets. The fact that they charge 45 cents for an extra sauce when the meal should come with 2 again is a racket. My 2 pieces of chicken didn't even look completely cooked. This was my second time going there. And I can honestly say that I won't be going back. It was a waste of $20.45. Chick-fil-A is right down the street. And that would be my choice. Better variety and quite frankly you get more for your money.. they are real pieces of chicken and are Get her cooked through and you get more for your money. And I don't know what all of the excitement is about the sauce. It's quite frankly. It's just so so San. When I asked if they had ranch, they said no.
