A Mixed Bag of an Experience

I had a mixed experience at Wendy’s on Day St Moreno Valley CA about a week ago today. The food was good, but the service was inconsistent. I must point out this- the only person who made my visit worthwhile was ZOELAN, who was a gem of a young man. He was courteous, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained the Wendy’s promo and app to me with flair and passion. He also got my order right and gave me the correct change. He was the epitome of customer service. I implore the management at this location to promote & give this gentleman a raise immediately of not sooner. Thank you, Zoelan, for your wonderful service. You are a legend!

However, I can’t say the same for the other drive thru worker lady, she was a thorn in my side. She was rude, impatient, and clueless. She had no idea about the Wendy’s promo I asked about or the slightest knowledge about the app. She then barked at me when I asked her about it. She also messed up my order and gave me the wrong change. She was the antithesis of customer service. She spoiled my mood and made me lose my appetite. She needs to be retrained or fired, because she is tarnishing Wendy’s reputation and customer satisfaction. She is an embarrassment to Wendy’s brand and to the customer service industry.

Overall, I  had give Wendy’s on Day St MV a 3 out of 5 stars. It would have been a 5 easily if it wasn’t for the incompetent drive thru worker lady. I suggest you steer clear of this place, unless Zoelan is working, otherwise you will regret it. Wendy’s, please do something about your staff quality and consistency. You have a loyal customer in me, but only if you treat myself and others right. Otherwise, I will bid you farewell and I will spread the word to stay away from the Day St Moreno...

The drive thru has been a tiny nightmare to wait in lately but it's still faster than In & Out. I suggest going inside to order. It's a little bit faster & slightly refreshing with the whole dining area not being used. I'm kinda sick of drive thru's, 4 real!😤 Ya'll need to get it together & wear the damn masks! No one cares about your civil liberties being violated! Stop protesting shut downs! We need to wake up & take this seriously before it's too late.🤯 So, apparently Wendy's likes to put pickles on a their Classic Chicken Sandwich... that's needs to stop! The thought is gross enough. Also,I don't get the pickles on hamburgers concept much less a chicken sandwich...Yuck!🤮 Also, what's up with the peppered french fries? I think it's white pepper or sumthin', no black pepper specs, just an unpleasant surprise in my mouth! Never used to be like that before. Ruins the whole thing for me! Just salt them, sans the pepper. Otherwise, the food was good...especially...

Lost over half an hour waiting in drive thru to have them try and give me someone else's food twice had them going back and forth between people on what I had ordered and after I had told them at the window they had to ask me a 2nd time.... Then waited as they assumed I should have left because they didn't give me my drink and then told them I needed a straw and they gave me a 2nd one and told me they had put a straw in the bag which maybe they did on the order that wasn't mine but there was no straw in the bag.... You would think with the massive wait they would at least get something right but... Also they have a pin pat hanging out for you to swipe on your own which means that whoever is doing the ringing up if orders is actually free to do something else making the extreme wait even more...
