My partner and I broke off from our family to go on our own dinner-date night and picked here because of the good reviews! Happy to say I'm so glad we chose this place for one of our meals in Myrtle, as it ended up being one of our favorites! The atmosphere was fun and lively, and our waiter was so kind! I believe his name was Victor/Viktor (it's been a few days now). He goofed with us a little (which I love when my servers can make me feel less serious, as I'm kind of awkward and nervous sometimes going out to eat). I asked him for his favorite aqua fresca flavor and to surprise me, and he went right along with it! Brought out the yummiest pineapple agua fresca! Drank it so fast, I asked for the Jamiaica one also (hibiscuis). Also yummy! Pineapple was definitely my favorite of the two, though. Both of our meals were delicious, as well as sides. I got steak fajitas, my partner got a ground beef taco that was pretty good, we both got Mexican potatoes to share (so good), however, the tamales (that I couldn't eat due to a pork allergy, but am using my partners opinion) had a sauce/gravy that reminded them almost of gravy from KFC. Not the typical tamale sauce we are accustomed to, but everything else was great. The esquites was absolutely amazing and I recommend that a ton (as with the Mexican potatoes). I know the wait seemed super long for others (was hearing people say ~2 hours), but the two of us had a 15 minute wait and got in within 5 minutes. 10/10 place.

My party and I were pleasantly surprised. We thought our visit to Fiesta Mexicana was going to be just another meal, nothing special, maybe not review worthy. We sure were surprised with the service and food. First, our server suggested a different table than we chose out on the patio. He let us know that the table we chose would soon be in the full sun, and considering it was 90 degrees, we might get uncomfortable. It was a great recommendation! The outdoor patio was surprisingly quite considering it is fairly close to business 17. The misting fans were an added bonus in the heat. We opted for the tables idea guacamole, the best I've had years. The 'Guacamole Technician' has 20+ years in her craft, it made a difference. Our server was attentive and helpful with suggestions and questions. Their Happy Hour speciasl are a great value, especially the Margaritas and 32 ounce beers. What i thought is an added touch was the member of the team that focused on chips. He came by often to collect our nearly empty chip baskets and promptly returned with fresh, hot chips and salsa. Overall, the food, service, and price were outstanding. They do it right! Additionally, the rest rooms were immaculate! I don't think I've ever commented on rest rooms! Fiesta Mexicana is definitely worth a visit, I know I'll be back!!

Stepping into Fiesta Mexicana, I immediately felt like I'd found my happy place – and my stomach's new best friend. Seriously, if you're in Myrtle Beach and craving Mexican, this is where you need to be. Let's talk about the essentials: The chimichangas were perfectly crispy on the outside, wonderfully gooey on the inside – basically, a little parcel of joy. And don't even get me started on the queso and bean dip. I'm pretty sure I could swim in that stuff and die happy (though I'd probably get weird looks). But the real star of the show, the unsung hero, the roaming marvel that keeps on giving? The fresh guacamole cart. This isn't just a cart, folks; it's a mobile monument to avocado perfection, constantly roving around the restaurant like a delicious, green-gold beacon of hope. I swear, every time my guac bowl got suspiciously empty, there it was, like a mind-reading, chip-dipping angel. It's truly a thing of beauty. So, if you're looking for fantastic food, great vibes, and a guacamole experience that borders on spiritual, get yourself to Fiesta Mexicana. Just be warned: you might leave with a full belly and a slight obsession with roving avocado carts.

Pictures of the food are incredible and look good in person, that is the best pet of the experience.

We visited in July, middle of the week, and took a patio seat as the inside tables had a long wait.

We didn’t have long to wait for our server Samantha. She our drink order and left us to the menus. Chips and salsa arrived quickly, good chips and okay salsa. Drinks came out quickly, very light pour on the bar drinks.

We placed our order for entrees and sampler platter as an appetizer. Samantha had a little trouble understanding our order although the only special order was to replace the red and cheese sauce with green sauce.

The sampler platter was served without a long wait. It was left at the table without my explanation or plates to eat from. We waited for five minutes and then had to ask two servers for plates before Samantha arrived with them. We asked Samantha what was on the platter and she had to go get an explanation. The platter was okay but not very flavorful.

Entrees arrived with the sauce on the chimichangas had the wrong sauce and the we received one tacos Al pastor when the menu clearly says it is four. The food server took the chimichangas and had them remade correctly. Samantha took the one taco away, it was returned to the table by a food server who wanted us to take it while we waited for the correct order, but we returned it. Chiles poblano we’re okay but boring, tasting mostly of sauce. Steak quesadilla was stuffed with flank steak that was fatty and gristle, even after pouring pico de gallo on it was bland. The tacos Al pastor arrived and were underwhelming.

We left without finishing. Boring and bland with spotty service. I would...

Went there to meet my sister, who had called several times to make a reservation for 9, but was repeatedly told that they DO NOT take reservations. I got there early with my daughter and grandson and it was 100 degrees outside, so I went to get us a table...and was told that we couldn't even be seated until at least half of our party arrived, so we waited with a 2 year old in 100 degree weather for 20 minutes...and they didn't care at all. When everyone arrived, we moved to an outside table for 9 people. After seating the babies and talking a few minutes, they came and told us we had to move...that the table was RESERVED!..WTH?! We let them know we were not about to move as we had tried to get a reservation and were told they DO NOT take reservations. I am a nice man, however, and after they started loudly berating the young waiter who had seated us in front of their patio guests, I went over and told them we could move inside where it was cooler and that the young man was only doing his job and had provided excellent customer service. Then once inside, the new waiter brought my sister her steak tacos after bringing everyone's food first. One taco was steak and the other was obviously pork. He actually tried to tell us the pork taco was shredded steak. WTH? When she finally got her food, everyone else has finished eating. I can promise I will NEVER go back to this bougee, overpriced, worst service ever restaurant. It was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had along the whole...
