Im hoping Corporate sees this and fix the issue On July 18, 2025 Me and my family visit this restaurant after researching reviews etc. The atmosphere was AMAZING and the service was spectacular The manager on duty accommodated us with a large table for me and the family to stay dry since it was a light drizzle. Then we ate had a good time etc. The server was extremely nice and very overwhelmed with the amount of tables he had to deal with including us So I was very understanding no complaints. He brought a alcoholic beverage to our table and I kindly stated "Wrong table" he agreed and he took the drink to the correct table. It's time to Pay I looked at the FIRST bill and I saw there wasn't an itemized bill but the amount looked pretty good but I still scratched my head and tipped and paid it. He comes back with NOW an itemized bill with the OTHER tables drink on it The manager on duty stated it will be deleted etc no worries I told him the charge for someone else drink is already posted to my card etc. He assured me he deleted it. I took it at face value it will be adjusted etc. The next day Saturday (7/19/25) I saw the FULL CHARGE was charged etc. So me and my family just agreed since it's only $15 for the OTHER TABLE'S drink let's go back to just get a drink on them since I paid for something that I didn't ask for or nor want The manager on duty this day Was RUDE as hell and wouldn't listen to NOTHING I had to say. I was extremely polite non confrontational The ONLY black male in there greeted me and he knew what happened the day before etc. The manger basically didn't care about my complaint or tried to assist me He talked down to me in front of his staff trying to "tough talk" to me and basically told me to call my bank. I said sir listen, I'm not trying to cause an issue I'm just trying to get a drink in somewhat same value as I was charge for that I didn't ask for. He told me NO so rude had his arms folded the whole time turning red because I asked him For his name - in which he refused to give me Then he said "call the GM" Who is the GM SIR -"the guy that was here yesterday" I asked him to please write the name down and email In which he didn't want to do that He gave me TWO names Derrick and Craig I asked him who is who? He said " the GM and me" I'm not sure who is at this point then i left, while leaving all his staff (7 of them standing around) they started laughing while I walked away. My brother tried to fix the issue the whole time Craig or Derrick Started flaring his hands and his gestures etc becoming hostile towards my brother simply because we wanted to get my money back that was charged incorrectly in the first place. My brother asked for a corporate number he refused to give it to my brother and walked off and said "I'm tired of y'all" So i didn't get the money back nor a corporate number Bad customer service...
Read moreIf you’re looking for the quintessential beachfront dining experience in Myrtle Beach, look no further than LandShark Bar & Grill. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere here is a perfect blend of laid-back beach vibes and lively energy, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a day at the beach or kickstart a fun evening out.
First off, the location is unbeatable. Nestled right on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, LandShark offers stunning views of the ocean, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the sights and sounds of the beach. We opted for a table on the outdoor patio, and the experience of dining with the ocean breeze in our hair and the sound of waves crashing in the background was nothing short of magical.
The menu is a celebration of classic American fare with a coastal twist, and every dish we tried was a hit. We started with the “Tsunami Shrimp,” which was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. For our main courses, we went with the “LandShark Burger” and the “Mahi Tacos.” The burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and packed with flavor, and the tacos were fresh, zesty, and bursting with the vibrant flavors of the sea. The portions were generous, and everything tasted incredibly fresh.
The drink menu is another highlight, featuring a variety of creative cocktails, many of which are inspired by the tropical paradise vibe. We couldn’t resist trying the signature “LandShark Lager,” which paired perfectly with our meal. The “Frozen Margaritas” were also a delight, refreshing and perfectly balanced, making them the ideal companion for a sunny day by the beach.
What really set LandShark apart, though, was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do, which made our experience all the more enjoyable. Our server took the time to chat with us, recommend dishes, and make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the prime location and quality of food. Whether you’re in Myrtle Beach for a vacation or you’re a local looking for a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious food, LandShark Bar & Grill is a must-visit. We left with full bellies, big smiles, and a promise to return on our next trip to Myrtle Beach.
LandShark Bar & Grill gets a full 5 stars from us—it’s the perfect place to create lasting memories with family and friends while enjoying everything that makes Myrtle...
Read moreOn July 8, 2025 two of us visited your Barefoot Landing location. The location and atmosphere were the only positives of our experience. While our server was very polite and friendly, the service was embarrassingly poor by all staff who waited on us. A second server/runner brought the steamed clams and said he will bring us plates which he never did, resulting in us having to ask our first server. We also had to ask our first server for silverware. She brought back packs of plastic silverware and told us all of the silverware is in the dishwasher which we found interesting considering the place was not crowded at all. She told us she will bring us clean silverware which never happened. After finishing the steamed clams, the bowl of butter and empty shells remained on the end of table for the remainder of our stay even after a third server/runner came to our table. Regarding the food, it was below average. We have bought frozen seafood and prepared it ourselves to be much more enjoyable. We paid $20 for tasteless steamed clams and $26 for a dried out seafood combo thrown on top of a handful of fries. The overpriced seafood combo was pathetic. On top of it we had to pull it apart by hand because the plastic silverware was of no use. As we walked out we were sure to tell a family on their way in to turn around and find another place to eat. They were shocked when we shared our experience. We have since shared our experience with many locals and they were not surprised about the lack of quality in your establishment.
After originally sending the above email and getting no response, we went back to talk to a manager on July 11, 2025. He seemed to play things off and was good with his excuses referring to the service issues as coachable moments and that he would address these things in a staff meeting. He seemed to know what to say perhaps from having lots of experience having to do so. When we shared where we are from he changed the subject and told us that he lived in our home state for awhile and went back for a wedding. WHO CARES??!! He later explained the lack of real silverware may have occurred because maybe they were very crowded before we arrived. He displayed a lack of professionalism by explaining the poor service as a possible result of a language barrier among his staff. When he asked us if we would come back I assured him...
