PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT!! We were charged an 18% gratuity. My family has 4 people in it and when I questioned the bill, the manager said the system automatically adds it in, and now everyone pays 18%. I asked why I was not told that and where is it posted at. She said it on the menu, she showed me the menu and it clearly says for 6 or more there will be a 18% gratuity plus 3% if I use a card. Again we were a family of 4 so I shouldn’t be charged that without telling me up front about this new policy. She said they changed it in the system but not the menus yet. Please make that make sense. I asked another couple that was there did they server mention the new policy of the 18% they say no. But what really got me when the couple asked their waiter about it and if they getting charged 18% he clearly said no only for 6 or more. So how is it a new policy and your staff don’t know about it. I can go on more about this incident and what was said but I’m not. I clearly paid my bill without the 18% and gave the waitress a tip. Why did the manager say now the waitress has to pay the gratuity out of her pocket. So not only they getting over on customers but staff as well. There is a difference between a service charge and a gratuity. I hope you updated your menus or have the manager explain this “new policy” to customers. ** You all must do this so much because you don’t Remember. First of all I don’t know where you got 6 because it was a family of 4 only (4 adults) no kids and you all sat us in a booth. In my comment I said what was stated on the menu. My thing is did you change the menu to say everyone will be charged 18% “New Policy” on the menu, that’s what was told to me. I also said that I can say more about the incident but I didn’t. You stated that the servers get paid through tips well if you stop scamming for your staff and actually let them do their job and earn the tips maybe you want have other reviews having similar issues. We walked in, the sever gave us our booth and menus, took order, gave food, and never seen again until she gave us a check. They sat up front talking but you want me to give 18% SMH. After we went back and forth about the “NEW POLICY” and I told you all I was going to pay was my bill minus the 18%, the server was surprised when I said I will be paying cash. She looked at me, paused and stared then say cash oh you thought I was going to give you all my card NOOOO. The moral of this is be more professional and stop scamming tourists out of there money. Even though staff barely spoke English when it came down to the 18% and I assume the rude Jamaican lady is the manager or owner. Oh and I did give her a $4 dollar tip for taking our...

Read moreWe really enjoyed our first visit, so we came back. Server was ok. No real personality. Ordered a large pizza with Pepperoni. We split the pizza in half. One side with sausage and extra sauce. The other side had green, black olives, extra cheese. When the pizza came, we saw that 1/2 slice with the extra cheese was missing the extra cheese. Decided not to say anything . The half pizza with extra sauce was still light on sauce. We ordered 2 salads and 2 ice teas. When we got the bill, the total came to $69.51 without tip. I thought wow: a large pizza for 2 people for $70. YES ($70). We gave a tip but certainly not their recommended minimum 15 percent. We got home and I looked at the bill closer and here, what was stated on their menu and on line for toppings/large pizza was $3.00 each. Here we were charged $4.50 for each extra topping, $2.00 for extra cheese and 50 cents for extra sauce. By FAR outrageous. For $75 we could have gone somewhere nice with ambiance, really great service and for a little more, I'm positive for what we ate wouldn't have cost that much. We realize that prices at high, but this really makes us choose to eat at home instead of going out. Businesses are ripping the public off, and they wonder why their sales have gone down. I don't live in the dark. I'm aware of pricier food costs, BUT: a Large Pizza and 2 salads????? We...
