I came in because I heard Goo Goo clusters were a Nashville specialty and personally I had never tried them before and I was asking the store manager for some more information about them. When asking her about the size of the goo goo clusters, she wouldn’t give me a straight answer and I had to use my hands several types in a shape in order for her to tell me how big they were. Later on, when I was asking if there were samples to try because I had never had them before, there was this very nice employee who had glasses who kindly explained to me they didn’t have any goo goo cluster samples available but had some ruby chocolate available for me to try, which I appreciated. She was also very helpful in letting me know that the original goo goo clusters are the most popular. My biggest issue is that this store doesn’t honor the promotions they list. There was a sign that said that if you buy a 3 count original flavor, peanut butter and cheerwine there would be a 10% discount. That was not given. I saw a sign that said that if you spend over $50 you would get a free thermal tote bag. Keep in mind this day it was 4pm and 88 degrees Fahrenheit. The store manager(black female) was checking out my order, which was over $70. I had asked her if I should worry about the chocolates melting because I was planning on bringing them when I fly back to Chicago which she said no. After the exchange, she didn’t give me the tote bag. I’m really disappointed that the manager, who should be intimately familiar with the promotion and my comments on the weather which hinted at the thermal tote bag did not register in her mind to give me the tote bag. I hope next time they honor the promotions they have at the store. I will not be coming back to the in person store unless they make a commitment to honor their promotions clearly listed and visible...

Stopping here has now become a tradition each time I visit Nashville. I’m not a huge fan of the original GooGoo Cluster, so the experience of making my own is much more inviting to me. When you walk in you simply go to a computer kiosk and begin selecting all the many incredible ways to customize your very own masterpiece. I think this last time I got white chocolate with vanilla nougat, salted caramel, toffee, banana chips, and white chocolate chips. It was insanely delicious!!! The store is fun to check out for your first visit. There are prepackaged options to grab and go if you have less time to wait for customization or even as a gift. There a bit of seating but I can imagine when it gets busier it may be a little less comfortable as far as having to stand and wait. It seems like it takes a super long time for your creation to come to life but remember each one is carefully crafted. You can enjoy watching all of them being made while you wait. I also got a package of several bon bons this time. WOAH! They were amazing. The Nashville hot chicken was fantastic with just enough spice at the end to understand the concept. The Cowboy Campfire was an elevated kinda dark chocolate form of a more elegant s’more. The Moonshine Cherry Bomb, the one with a kind of cherry gel consistency and Jack Daniel’s was probably my favorite. You could really define all of the elements there and the combination was exquisite. The price is a bit steep but most things in Nashville are. Even so I feel like you really do get your money’s worth. I definitely recommend visiting at least once for the ambiance, the story behind the brand, and the overall experience…not to mention leaving with some incredibly...

My wife and I were in Nashville visiting some friends, and they signed us all up for the "Goo's and Booze" event for pairings of whiskey and chocolates. We all had a great time, and everything was delicious! The event started with Casey giving us a history of the GooGoo Cluster candy company, and introduced the various TN whiskeys, and house-made chocolate treats. Casey was funny, very engaged, and had interesting facts about various chocolates and local distilleries. All the pairings were spot-on, and it was hard to tell which was my favorite whiskey, but if you have a chance to try the "campfire" chocolate/smores cluster, I would definitely recommend as my favorite. After the tasting, we all got an opportunity to make our own customized GooGoo Clusters. One of the newer recruits, Jeremy, was given the reigns for this portion of the presentation. He totally knocked it out of the park, he had great energy and humor, and had excellent recommendations for making your own googoo. Jeremy had another one of the staff, Abby, helping out during the DIY portion of the event, and she was a delight as well. Abby kept everything running smoothly, helped take pictures, and made sure we had a great time. You can make your own GooGoo Cluster in the store and watch them make it, without doing the extra event we signed up for. However, if you have an hour or two to spare, I would whole-heartedly recommend doing any of their extra events/classes, as the staff made it an...

The name sake candy, Goo Goo Cluster was created in 1912 here in Nashville so this is a must to visit when in Nashville. While they sell their main namesake clusters. It is also a dessert bar with shakes, ice cream and luscious desserts. They do also have a local chef created treat Goo Goo that changes. So check out their site periodically to see which chef will be creating during your visit. This is still a small family owned business staying true to the original recipe and quality of Goo Goo Cluster. We wanted to do the 'Secrets of Goo Goo' class, where they have wine pairings with some of their chocolates and treats as well as getting to create your own Goo Goo creation; however, it was not offered during our travel dates. We did do the 'Taste of Goo Goo Class', where we made our own personal Goo Goo treat, learned about their peanut butter while making an icing with it for a house made brownie topping. We then enjoyed a sample version of a Blondie dripping with caramel with aside of their Goo Goo Cluster inspired milkshake. Yummy! It was fun and we enjoyed meeting a local father and daughter doing a quality day together as a belated Father's day gift. Ashley did a great job teaching our foursome. We enjoyed talking with some locals about places to see and eat. Highly recommend!
