Would have been an above average Thai place had it not been for the poor customer service. ( the customer is always wrong)

The Penang was good but had little broccoli. Wonton pork egg noodle soup was excellent. Chicken pot stickers were soggy and seemed like frozen Costco. The thing that frosted us the most was our order for Pad Voon Sen with pork, which they made with chicken. No biggie, right. Waitress says “ok if I just add some pork? “ I said sure. The waitress then takes it back to the kitchen then come back and says “Chef says this is pork”! So I show her the chicken in the Panang and how they match the Pad Voon Sen meat and show her the pork In the soup and how they’re different. She leaves again and comes back and says “ chef says this is different kind of pork” and continues to argue that I just don’t understand.

Parking was good and service was fast. Food is pricey.

I’ve eaten in Thai places for 40 years and am certain what I had and know Asian food. This was just an out right lie by the chef to save a buck from their mistake. The chef and employees were not Thai and simply couldn’t care less about customer service. It’s more of a pan Asian place than a Thai restaurant. Disappointing if you eat at a lot of Thai places. Maybe good...

The restaurant was not crowded when I went at 4:00 p.m., and I had a pleasant conversation with the owner who is clearly very proud of his restaurant and his food offerings. I really enjoyed everything that I had, the reasons I give four stars was that I was dining alone and told the waitress that I was ordering a bowl of soup first, and also a noodle entree, so I was surprised that both came out at the same time. Both were delicious, but one really can't eat both at the same time so the noodle dish had to sit on the table cooling off while I was enjoying the soup. Also, the wonton, noodle and roast pork soup tasted great, but it was disappointing that there were only three wontons in it unlike other restaurants where there are usually between six and eight wontons in a large bowl. Lastly, I ordered the spicy level at 4 out of 5 but it was only a 2 spicy level at best. I will definitely come back because there's a lot of great menu choices I want to try, I'll just need to be more exacting in my wording, and to also ask for a spice condiment tray so I can make the food spicier...

Tried ordering for takeout last night around 8pm and nobody was answering the phone (website/Google said they were open til 9 - so we were super disappointed after we had just spent 30+ minutes figuring out what everyone might like. Frustrating.). So this afternoon I called to make sure they were open tonight. We ordered 4 entrees, the wonton soup (yum!) and chicken egg rolls (also super yum!). For the entrees I specifically asked if we could have zero heat and the person on the phone said no, one is the lowest they go. So we got all our food at 1 spicy level. It definitely packed a punch for me and I do enjoy my spicy! For my mom & dad and sister, though, it ruined the meal for them. We got the Pad Thai with chicken, Drunken Noodles with chicken, Pad See Ew with pork, and orange chicken. All of the food was very flavorful but, again, the heat ruined it for us. A lot of money and food wasted unfortunately. :(

I see here in the reviews where other people got zero heat dishes so I am confused why we didn't have the...

I think we were near this restaurant last year when the building was being renovated. We were visiting Nashville again this year 2020 and King Siam came recommended by a barista while we were visiting a coffee shop here today less than a year later. The place was beautiful, modern, clean with simple lines and it had some glams. The staff was friendly and cheerful. We ordered pork fried rice, spring rolls, and Tom Yum noodle soup(with hot and sour soup broth) with veggie salad. The weather was gloomy so the noodle soup was perfect for me. The meat was tender and soft in it. It was delectable. The salad was fresh and crisp and the dipping sauce that came with was delicious and refreshing. The spring rolls were generous in serving size and the fried rice was delicious(per my teen ager son!) I say you give King Siam a try. You won't be disappointed.

Heat Level is real thai index so level 1 pad thai still has a little heat, so if you can’t take any spice ask for level 0. I highly suggest egg rolls they’re clearly made in house, pad thai was fantastic, the curry was good and very creamy. The owner was so generous he came out and actually surprised us with free extra rice boxed up and eggs rolls with our takeaway boxes (very cool). Huge thai fan here, lived in places with authentic thai and this place is the best I’ve had in nashville so far. The owner is from Laos and his wife does most of the cooking. The restaurant was modern and extremely clean. This place deserves to be packed every night. They do have delivery services going as well. Parking is readily available and free as well.
