Casual Day Out in the Gulch

Went to this place after new years. We were a bit fun perhaps. We were asked to leave and we complied. We were expelled for seemingly ZERO reason. I have videos, pics, and first hand testimony of what happened. There was a large black man at the front door. He was simply doing what I guess he thought was right. I guess. He was unbending and the totally irrational. He seriously alienated us. I let my friends leave. I stayed behind tried to reason with him. I explained that my dad is a Vietnam combat veteran. He is an airborne infantryman. My buddy Terry was with us. He is a combat veteran. He left feeling disrespected. We were dismissed and asked to leave. I spent at least fifteen minutes interacting with this large black man. My pleas were ignored with ZERO professional consideration. He was 100% dismissive and made us leave. We were respectful, compliant, and peaceful and. we finally left him realizing it was on def ears

Pins Mechanical is the ultimate playground for grown-ups and kids! We stumbled into this place looking for a cold beer and a good time—and wow, did we hit the jackpot. From the second you walk in, it’s all smiles and good vibes. The beer is ice cold, the music is on point, and the whole place is bursting with energy. What makes Pins a total gem? It’s completely family-friendly while still feeling like your favorite bar hangout. Think duckpin bowling, giant Jenga, ping pong, foosball, and every awesome yard game you can think of. My kids were in heaven, and so were we. The vibe is like your coolest friend’s backyard party—but with better drinks and zero cleanup. Whether you’re there with your kids, your crew, or just want to throw axes and sip a cider, Pins has you covered. 10/10 will be back (like… next weekend). If you haven’t been yet, GO. And bring your A-game! Lolol!!!

EXTREMELY RUDE SECURITY AND NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. My family and I are out of town and decided we wanted to have a family fun night out. We have young kids so before we parked (parking is ridiculously expensive) I got down and asked if kids were welcome and if the place was safe for them, they said yes that kids were welcomed until 9pm. I told my family to get down and there was a bit of a wait for the mechanical pins so we asked if we were going to finish the game before 9pm and the staff told us not to worry that we could stay until our game was over. My daughter (3) didn’t want to play anymore so I took her to play ping pong while we waited for the rest of the family (in total 8) to finish. About 10 mins before 9 the security approached to tell me that kids were welcomed until 9 but I explained my family was playing and they had no problem. About 5 mins later another one approached and said “Out, kids gotta go” before I could explain he interrupted again telling me to leave. At this point I got upset because I could not believe this man was targeting a woman alone with a child. I kept trying to tell him that my family was still on a game and that it wasn’t even 9 yet showing him my smart watch but this man had no interest in deescalating the situation. My family and I were very disappointed and even left the place without finishing our game. I was not the only person with kids and as we were leaving there was still other families around however, he decided to target me. I was not drinking or being distributive so they had absolutely no excuse to act this way towards me. I was just trying to entertain my toddler while my family finished their game. Incredibly...

I recently came here on a Sunday with my partner and while it was overall fun there are a few areas they definitely can improve upon.

First off, the drinks and atmosphere is terrific. Had two excellent whiskey cocktails at only $12 each and furthermore a lot of games are free or $1. Bowling was also fun and is about $12 for one game for 2 people - not bad.

Now the bad. I don’t quite understand the point of letting dogs or kids into the facility. While we were bowling there was a dog incessantly barking and honestly was quite annoying - why a dog has to be on the bowling lanes is beyond me.

Secondly, I have no idea why kids are allowed in such a place. It is a mainly drinking place and for goodness sake, the bathrooms have expletives above the urinals (at least for the men). The last thing I want to be around while drinking is yappy dogs and kids. They need to do something about this especially given it was a Sunday. I’d opt to not come back just on this alone.

Lastly, they are a huge facility but don’t offer in house food? I was ready to order a bunch of items but was limited to the singular BBQ food truck they had out front. We didn’t want BBQ so had to walk elsewhere only to come back to drink + play games. I’d at least want to see multiple food trucks or have the ability to order some bar bites from inside.

There were a lot of issues imo and they can be easily fixed, the games and the drinks are both awesome though - just temper your...

The idea of this place is great! I was with a bachelorette party and a flight attendant who was local to the area had suggested we check this place out. We were so excited to realize that it was practically next door to our dinner location on Saturday so we swung in.

Immediately upon entering we headed to the bar to grab a drink. As we walked past the front desk I caught a glimpse of the employee's face that was working the desk and it was full of disgust and judgment as we walked by. She was blatantly unimpressed with something about our group. Anyway it kind of set off a terrible vibe right off the bat.

Then at the bar there was a, let's just say less-than-delightful female taking our orders. This individual was extremely unpleasant and literally shoved the credit card reader at each of us and threw our cards back at us. Zero gestures of kindness or smiles. Between these two, I was ready to just walk straight out of the door.

We decided to try and give it a shot anyway. We were told there was an hour + wait for either of the activities we were interested in, despite the seemingly open lanes/activities. We hung out for a while and sipped our $12 beverages, before we decided to head onto the next adventure.

The potential for this is place is high and it could be a really nice option to frequent if they could work on their efficiency and ask some of their employees to take their heads...
