This place was okay. A little disappointed. The goodfellas in Chattanooga was by far the closest thing to NY pizza that I've had. So when they were coming to Nashville I was beyond excited. The pizza was way too thick. Not even close to what I remember the other locations having. Then ontop of it, its like it was cooked on a cooking sheet and not on the actual brick oven so it was extremly floppy and doughy. Overall the place was clean which isn't a surprise with it being brand new, but not a ton of seating, super uncomfortable chairs, and the blaring music that wasn't even what I would expect. Where's the NY classics you'd come to expect with a goodfella vibe. Idk. It was just alright. For sure have had worse pizza in Nashville but for sure have had a ton...

They advertised a $1 slice special for their opening day, but once we got through the line to order we were told it only applied to plain cheese pizza, so had to rework our order. Calzone looked good, but they only make a certain number per day (apparently they had hit their limit 3 hours after opening?), so we didn't get a chance to try, but the breadsticks were tasty. Bathrooms are small (two stalls) and the doors don't latch properly. Location is good (convenient to Puttshack and a variety of other tourist traps), which will probably keep this...
Read moreTried Goodfellas on Thursday and wow! It did not disappoint! The pizza was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. (It was giving little Italy) The ambiance is just as impressive as the food! The whole place is themed after the movie Goodfellas, complete with real photos and details that make you feel like you’re part of the film. The atmosphere is sexy, fun, and totally on point. There is a beautiful lounge in the back for the 21+ crowd we took a peek since we were with the kids. Met John & he was super friendly.. Definitely one of those spots where you get both amazing food and an experience. Can’t wait...
