Poke Bros. — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I’m giving this place 2 stars because the food tasted good, but other than that this place was not great at all and I won’t be coming back.

It was my first time at a poke place and the employees were not very helpful which made it difficult to order. I asked for a shrimp bowl then when I asked for a scoop of marinated tuna, the lady said it would be an extra $3 for a second scoop of protein. Steep, but I agreed. First off, let me start by saying the scoops are EXTREMELY small. Then when the employee rings me up, she charges me for a marinated tuna bowl which is more expensive than the shrimp bowl - then charges $3 for the additional scoop of fish. The pricing model is very poor and I was very upset that she charged me for the more expensive fish then charged the cheaper fish as the flat $3. I would have mentioned this to her except I didn’t know until after I received my receipt. A bowl that should have been $9.50 ended up costing me 16.50 after tax. WAY OVERPRICED for the amount of fish you actually receive. The pricing would be more fair if 2 scoops of fish were included in the base price of the bowl. Definitely a rip off for the price you pay versus the amount of food...

If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. I walked into this place after looking it up online and I was very excited to try it. Walked in and greeted the lady at the counter all she said was yes. I didn’t let it bother me and asked her how her day was to be polite. She just replied back with “what do you want” this shocked me because I was very polite and she was giving me all types of attitude. I replied back that I needed a second to look at the menu to which she said nothing and stood there and stared at me while I looked at the menu. I was extremely dissatisfied with this service I left and took my business elsewhere. My only advice to the owner of this location is do not put your employees in the front of the store if they are not capable of providing...

I came to this place last night hoping to pick up dinner. As I waited in line, I noticed the server's child playing in the spicy salmon with the spoon and breathing over it. I wasn't too concerned, until the lady was ringing up my order. Her son used his hands to scoop the tempura flakes into his hand and was eating it right in front of me. I had just chosen that topping. The lady was acting nonchalant as if it was no big deal, letting the kid do as he pleased. Disgusted, all I could wonder was how many times he (and maybe the others) were eating out of the food with their hands all day. I pointed out how unsanitary that was, refused to purchase my food, and walked out. I will never return to this place again. That was any restaurant-goer's...
