Robert's Western World is truly the crown jewel of Nashville's honky-tonk scene. Stepping inside feels like a magical portal into the heart and soul of country music. The moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the sounds of authentic live bands, playing everything from classic country hits to toe-tapping rockabilly tunes. The talent here is out of this world—each performance brimming with passion and raw energy.

The vibe is unmatched, blending old-school charm with an electric atmosphere. Walls adorned with memorabilia and the iconic neon lights create an inviting space where everyone—locals and tourists alike—feels welcome. And can we talk about the food? Their famed fried bologna sandwich is legendary, making every bite a flavorful reminder of home-style cooking. Pair it with a cold drink, and you're set for an unforgettable evening.

No matter when you visit, Robert's is alive with the spirit of Nashville. Whether you're dancing the night away, singing along, or simply soaking in the ambiance, it's an experience you'll cherish forever. A must-visit spot for anyone wanting to dive deep into the heart...

My girlfriend and I were in Nashville for a few days shortly before Christmas and we came to this bar and had a blast. Here are some of the highlights.

Live music. There was live music all night starting from around 6:30 and lasting until 11. The band was fantastic: super energetic, entertaining and lots of audience interaction. The lead singer especially was very charismatic and a lot of fun. The music itself was also good and there was a good mix of songs.

Food. The food was decent (I especially recommend the fried cheese curds), but what made it really great was the price. For about $6 you can get a fried bologna sandwich, chips, a moon pie and a pbr. For just a little more you can get more cheese curds than you can comfortably eat. The beer is also cheap. Especially compared to the other bars downtown, the prices were unbelievable.

Atmosphere and service. The audience is lively and the vibe is very funny but somehow the bar also feels a little less crowded and a little less loud (in a good way) than other bars downtown. The service was also great and we were served...

Im the guest that hasn't tried the Fried Bologna Sandwich. However, im the guest that comes to Nashville from time to time to see this really incredible band, Kelley's Heroes. The entire band makes me feel like im watching something great. Because while I truly am, it also feels so antiquated and so beyond even their time. Their mannerisms, the attire, the whole "bit" is just entertaining to the fullest. From sitting on his (upright) bass, to standing on it, to picking it up like it's nothing and tossing it over his shoulders, to playing it like it's a guitar. I mean the guy is just something to watch. It's a total eyegasm if I've ever had one. The guitar player, is talented beyond words. Young. But seasoned beyond belief. He's someone you're gonna see on the big screen one day. These guys are good. So much so, I ignore them when they promote the bologna sandwich. It's not that I dont wanna eat, I just cant seem to pick my mouth up from the floor enough to make it over to the bar to order the darn...

The BEST burgers in the world! My late father and I both thought the same thing when we first visited Nashville for a business trip. We both sat there and really enjoyed the over all atmosphere. I remember watching the cook carsfully crafting our burgers - they were the best! 15 years later my fiancé takes me back to Nashville (hence my favorite place to visit) And I never remembered exactly what honky tonk it was my father and I had sat in. But on my last night in Nashville and on my birthday we walked a little further on Music Row stumbling upon Robert's! Memory unlocked as we walked in, tears filled my eyes with such an emotion. My dad had passed away about a year ago, and that night I felt his presence like never before! The band played nothing but old school country, the REAL country and even my requested song by Waylom Jennings "Luckenbach Texas" and me being a Texas boy just added the cherry on top! Met some local Houston country singer who also sang me happy birthday. It was the greatest!
